北極飯店

Warning when booking a stay at Hotel Arctic Illulissat Greenland. I had to cancel my reservation for June 2025 a few weeks after booking in Dec. They confirmed the cancellation and acknowledged refund due of one night stay deposit. It’s been 6 weeks since I cancelled. I have had to do many follow ups with the hotel. Lots of excuses. Finally the refund was supposedly made to my credit card but nothing has come through. I have now handed it over as a disputed item to the credit card company. My original intention was re rebook with them. But I now feel that’s a big risk. The location looks lovely but a luxury hotel operation who had no problem immediately charging one nights room charge at booking but can’t promptly make refunds due concerns me deeply.

The hotel is located on probably the most spectacular location. The view is amazing!!! The restaurant has good and some local food. Although I booked a "budget-friendly" room it was very good, clean and cosy. Ilulissat is a great location to go and explore Greenland.
