I will say I was hesitant when we pulled up to the hotel. I booked online and the outside looks rough. Totally different story when I walked in. This hotel is in the process of updating everything. The lobby looked great. Gisela at the front desk was very nice, personable, and professional. You can tell everything was newly painted, new floors, furniture looked new as well. We reached the room and we were ecstatic! The room had been renovated. It was very spacious, super clean, and the beds are comfortable. You can tell there is new light fixtures, sinks, etc. The room had two queen beds, plenty of table space, a desk, lots of outlets, microwave, mini refrigerator, and a sectional couch. The view was great! I spent slightly more to get a falls view. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. They are working on the outside. Kudos to the owner and management for working on getting this hotel back to its glory! Love it! I will stay here again if I come through the area.

Excellent place. A really big room, and well designed, too.Floor to ceiling window, which is so unusual in American hotels, and a decent sized sitting area. Quiet, comfortable, and such a feeling of space. Breakfast was OK, the reception was warm and welcoming. It has been remodelled very well indeed.

By far one of the least favorite Quality Inns we have ever stayed at. I asked for no adjoining-rooms☆ furthest from elevator-room was right next to it, pets-☆ and smoking areas- worker stayed 2 doors down and smoked on their balcony at night...blowing thru our A/C. And a quiet (renovations were right beliw us--until 8 or 9pm!)room with a great view (that I paid for) we got 2nd floor..with a rooftop to our right. Had to hang over the balcony to get a shot of the falls. HOT breakfast? Yeah, if you make a waffle....it does not pay to be a Platinum member at this facility. I was not welcomed as a Platinum member. I would not recommend this rundown..lower quality than Motel 6 and at best a $70 night stay. Don't stay here even if it is clise to the beautiful Idaho Falls.

I rented a room overlooking the falls didnt get the room i wanted. Walked in tgere was a plastic bag of a cup on the table by bed the carpet was not vacuum, out on balcony was a soda can and two pack of cigarettes, sink didnt drane , staff as we wLked in checked in was ok. The guy in the morning was very helpful, and very kind

The view is beautiful. Rooms have been recently renovated. The hotel is unique in its design and has been apart of old downtown Idaho Falls since I was a kid. My wife and I have made it our preferred destination for our anniversary. It was getting out dated and worn before and now with the improvements and renovations it has made it more pleasant. The staff is very friendly and do a good job.

Tutto considerato, mi sono trovata molto bene a questo hotel, che offre camere spaziose con una vista spettacolare sullo Snake River. Il personale era molto accogliente e gentile, hanno sempre fatto del loro meglio per rispondere alle mie domande e per aiutarmi in caso di difficoltà. Ad esempio, quando ho avuto difficoltà a connettermi a internet durante una tempesta di neve, una delle signore della reception si è gentilmente offerta di condividere con me la sua connessione dati, così che potessi avvertire i miei studenti della necessità di rimandare la lezione programmata di lì a pochi minuti. E’ stato davvero gentile da parte sua! Ho letto e sentito di persone che si lamentano della sporcizia nella stanze. Personalmente non ho avuto questa esperienza, la mia camera era pulita e ordinata. Forse la moquette può dare l’impressione di essere sporca o polverosa, ma a un secondo sguardo diventa subito chiaro che è solo un po’sbiadita. C’era tantissimo spazio e il letto era enorme, mi è quasi sembrato di tornare bambina! L’unica vera pecca per me è stata la colazione, non tanto per la scelta un po’scarsa, quanto per il gran numero di rifiuti causato da piatti e posate usa-e-getta. Mi rendo conto che a molti potrebbe sembrare una piccolezza e che sarebbe una spesa in più per l’hotel usare piatti riutilizzabili (senza contare assumere qualcuno per lavarli), ma il pensiero di tutto quello spreco, soprattutto in una zona dove nulla viene riciclato, mi ha intristito molto. Sono persino arrivata a portare ciotole e bicchieri di plastica in camera, lavarli e metterli in valigia per riportarli in Lituania, in modo tale da riciclarli. Una goccia nell’oceano, certo, ma proprio non ce l’ho fatta a buttarli nel misto. Questa è l’unica cosa che mi ferma dal dare cinque stelle. Per il resto, le eventuali piccole imperfezioni sono messe in ombra dai tanti aspetti positivi.

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel, and I have traveled extensively in 3rd world countries. Go anywhere else! This was a hasardous construction zone managed by an incompetent staff. There was trash and mess everywhere. The room was filthy. My bathroom looked like a crime scene with blood all over the shower. It was disgusting. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again. They charged me 25% more than their stated price on their website. They served a pitiful breakfast with no place to eat it. No trays either to take it to your filthy room. Absolutely disgusting with construction banging noises until 10 pm on a Saturday night. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Where’s Mel the Maintenance Man? This used to be a great property—- back in the 80s. We got the last room on a Friday - the linens seem fine, shower is hot and lots of pressure…BUT…for $163 I really expect a bit more. Reception was nice, ice machine works, but man…really? The bathroom needs a complete redo! Thanks for ripping out the carpet and putting in fake wood flooring. Whew! Bed seems comfortable, AC is comfortable and quiet. I think housekeeping is trying like crazy, but management just won’t release any $ to maintain the rooms for guests.
