So this hotel has a parking lot but they only have like 12 spots shared with the local doctor's office customers. The rest (another 10 or so) are 2h parking limit during the day. Every time I go to this hotel I have to park like 100 meters away from the hotel. When I finally get to the hotel my room will always be at the furthermost corner of the hotel. Currently the doctor's office is under renovations so they started drilling my room walls at 7-8am... Anyway. If you don't have much luggage to carry and don't need car parking, this hotel is good for you. I did, so I lost my mind over this. I also cannot eat lactose or oat, so I can't even find anything to eat at the hotel breakfast. Scandic makes everything with lactose, oats, or both. Oh and I had my dog with me and there were no dog bowls in the room, the cleaning staff told me to get them from reception. So I walked again to reception and back to get water for my dog. Usually the bowls are waiting for us in the room when we arrive.

Very slightly dated, but fresh and clean and reasonable quality for a small town location. Also very well situated for transport and amenities. Breakfast was good, if rather standard for Finland.

We had a lovely stay at Scandic Hyvinkää and truly enjoyed our experience. The room was very cozy and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day of traveling. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast. The food selection was amazing, fresh and with so many great options to choose from. The ambiance of the dining area was warm and inviting, making our morning feel relaxed and enjoyable. A very special thank you to May Beth, who was incredibly accommodating and helpful. She went out of her way to recommend what I should try and even introduced me to the orange-ginger morning boost, which was new to me and absolutely helped me feel energetic before travelling back to the airport. Her friendliness and attention made our breakfast experience even more memorable. Overall, we loved the food, the atmosphere, and the wonderful service. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for the breakfast and the kind staff!

The air conditioning did not do anything. The staff acknowledged this as a known issue. It was 27 C in the room and we could not sleep. There were some tabletop fans available for guests, but we did not get any as all were taken already. Also, there was a musty smell in the room, probably a moisture problem in the structures.

The hallway carpets were noticeably worn, there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the stairwell, and a broken porridge container was used at breakfast. The staff did not greet guests with a 'good morning' when entering the breakfast area—instead, they simply turned their heads away. There were many small things like these that negatively affect the overall experience, but which could be easily improved. Having stayed at several Scandic hotels, this was unfortunately the weakest one.

This hotel is located near the train station in the city center of Hyvinkää. You have everything in the vicinity. Wood for walking. Shops for go shopping and also restaurants. A lot of public transportation options and also taxis are there. Also the small airfield for coming with the own plane are reachable in 15 minutes.
