The restaurant serves different Asian cuisines and to my surprise that’s the best curry goat I have ever tasted .It’s just the right amount of spicy 🥵.I thought only Caribbeans prepare curry goat but even Asians prepare it too . Washed the food down with tequila 😏 I will definitely return to this restaurant when in Hythe. Food is on request so I enjoyed a beer while waiting for my meal .

The staff were nice and polite. But.. the room absolutely stunk as did most of the hotel. The smell made me feel quiet unwell. The bet curtains were ripped dirty and grey, the wood on dressing table was covered in chips.

Friendly staff, clean, comfy beds, breakfast was ok for the price, no problem here. Some of the comments on here I found myself saying “really” come on your by the seaside of course you going to have seagulls! Not a problem. I think some people expect too much, it’s in the town centre and it’s a pub, maybe people should book further out if they want peace and quiet. Free parking at the back of the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again and I’m a bit of a Karen so wouldn’t say that unless I meant it! Thank you 🙏

Large clean room with large tv. Comfortable bed and everyone seemed new and clean. From Hythe room we had a nice view of the High Street. Was a little bit noisy as you would expect above a pub. We always found a space in parking round the back. To get to car park you can put 8 Bsrtholomew St in satnav. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Stayed at the swan hotel for a couple of nights. Rooms were excellent and very spacious, neat and clean. Car parking available in the car park at rear was very handy. Pub within the hotel was very friendly. Restaurant was superb, food was very tasty and amazing service. Happy to recommend this place and if we visit Hythe again we would happily stay here again

Where do I start. On arrival I was immediately , informed that no breakfast will be available the next day. I specifically picked the venue as breakfast was advertised and the venue included a restaurant. This was a major inconvenience as an early morning depart to the Euro Tunnel was done on an empty stomach. No attempt was made to inform me prior. The rooms are above a reasonable looking restaurant, but the other half of the building, is the roughest bar I’ve seen for a while. The room smelt stale, but the worst was to come. Getting back to the room after going out for food, I read for a little while sat on top of the duvet on the bed. When I came to call it a night, I pulled the duvet back to find that the bed sheet at the foot of the bed, duvet and mattress were soaking wet. It was too late to do anything about it, and as the reception doubles for the bar, I really didn’t fancy trying to have this discussion at 10:30 pm in the dive bar. I decided to use the spare single bed and try and get a good night sleep. Simply not acceptable.
