Very impersonable no o ne at desk had to call a number

Pretty ordinary small town motel. Old chipped and used looking tub. New vanity. Walls are thin; bed was uncomfortable. But reasonably priced. Like everything, you get what you pay for.

Great place to stay, suggestions to improve Love this place but would recommend to the owners: please provide 2 soaps (one for shower, one for hand washing). Please also provide a hair dryer. Try using a Magic Eraser to clean the shower floor (I’m pretty sure it would clean the shower floor). Consider providing 2 bottles of water (water had a strong taste of chlorine).

Good room for $. Strang though. They left key in room, with door unlocked. No staff on property

Kinda miffed Pretty rough for the price, especially outside of tourist season. Because of "housekeeping issues," I was "upgraded to a room in the main hotel building instead of the chalet (which I chose because the reviews looked pretty good). I really doubt this was an upgrade. It was two beds, which didn't matter since I was alone. There was no one at the desk, so this change happened on the phone while I stood outside the office. Clean, had to be because it smelled like the disinfectant was poured on. Pedestal sink, so no counter space for toiletries or hair appliances. The sink was kinda scummy, the shower head was very crusty, and the towels were a bit stained (I do think they were clean though). I couldn't get the blinds all the way closed, and the smoke alarm beeped the whole time. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water, so the most important two things were fine. I probably could have complained, but I shouldn't have had to, and my trip was really early mornings, and really late nights, so I'd have been getting even less sleep by the time it was rectified. Overall, ok older place, but the price was not appropriate for the room, and I think I got jerked around on the "upgrade" thing.
