Hands down the best fish and chips in hoylake, this place is a fantastic pub, great beer garden ..good selection of beer and whiskey, gorgeous food and service is so friendly, shout out to Jim and Katie who served us our food and drink impeccably, Jim carried our bag to our room and gave us the full low down on night time arrangements with staying over, room was clean and cosy and couldn't ask for more for the price. The pub is 70 yards from the beach and 100 yards from the station, plenty to do in hoylake and a fabulous base for a night out.

We came for a Sunday roast as a family. The food was the best we’ve had as a family in a long time. Impeccable service from Jim and the rest of the team that really made the occasion for my mams birthday.

Only ate in the restaurant the staff were great very helpful, we had the 10oz bacon chop. Perfectly cooked, chips were lovely. Chocolate brownie was taste too.

Came in a Wednesday 16th July, for an evening meal for family. Got to say, I came here on word of mouth ... Im happy I did, fantastic food, starters, mains and desserts. Compliments to the chefs. As well as Compliments to the waiting staff 👍

Staff and food are great quality. Superb beer garden for the sunny days and surprisingly excellent breakfasts! Lucy and Sophie are particularly accomadating .The stand food are the pies along with the 1664 lager.Both a little on the rich side but you pay for what you get

I arrived after a long drive to be greeted warmly and escorted to my room. My accommodation was clean, bright, and very comfortable. The meal that night was amazing and some of the best I've tasted while travelling around the UK. I recommend the pie. I generally don't stay in pubs or large bars as I need a good night's sleep, but the Green Lodge has changed that. Great night's sleep all round. The shower room was perfect and had lots of hanger space. 2nd night's meal was fish and chips, and it was perfect. Beautiful fresh fish and stunning chips. The staff were fantastic, and being in their company was a pleasure. Thank you.
