"last‑minute overnight stay at St Ives Lodge turned out to be perfect. The estate is peaceful, beautifully kept, and full of wildlife zebra, wilder beast, antelope wandering freely across the grounds, which made the whole experience feel like a mini‑safari without any effort. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable even though a bit dated. Staff were friendly and welcoming breakfast in the main lodge was perfect with the atmosphere overall was calm and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you instantly unwind the moment you arrive."

"What a stunning location and beautiful rustic home. Ginormous double bedroom and king bed, spacious living/lounge room and quaint twin room. Well equipped kitchen, just enough room to swing a cat! "The OId Mushroom Farm is a rustic, off the grid apartment. The reimagining of the operating farm into a holiday destination is successful. The addition of retail and entertainment spaces makes for a very pleasant stay. The accommodation is rustic, but comfortable. I have though a warning. The steps to the apartment do not have a rail and may be difficult to navigate for some people. The fireplace is very pleasant but cannot heat the room, which could make for a rather cold stay in winter. "

"We once again spent the Easter weekend at Otters Den, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The self-catering cottage is well-equipped, making for a comfortable and easy stay. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful views of the clean, flowing Lions River. The location is ideal—close to the Midlands Meander and perfect for sightseeing. Grenville and Christine were, as always, warm and hospitable hosts who made our visit truly enjoyable. It was also great to see the ongoing improvements, especially the addition of the new generator that now powers the entire complex—a fantastic upgrade. Thank you again for a lovely stay.
