休斯頓醫療中心 - 畫廊區皇冠假日飯店 - IHG 旗下飯店(Crowne Plaza Houston Med Ctr-Galleria Area, an IHG Hotel)

For an older hotel, there is a charm to this place. For the price and location, this is a win.

Hotel parece ter sido renovado, mas ainda têm muitos problemas. O banheiro é ruim, ainda com banheira e o chuveiro não esquentava o suficiente e a queda d'água era péssima. Toalhas velhas também. O quarto tinha mau cheiro do carpete e, ao solicitarmos a troca, a recepcionista nos informou que todos os quartos eram assim e sequer sugeriu uma troca. O café da manhã é pago, são 13.90. Não achei que as opções fossem boas para se cobrar esse valor, então não comemos lá.

Overall in disrepair and poorly managed.There were only sheets on the bed (had to call and request a blanket/comforter) and a security guard delivered a flimsy single bedspread even though the room was a double. Shower current rod was loose and rusted out and Toilet was leaking at the water supply inlet to where there was a significant amount of water on the floor and I had to turn it off to get the noise to stop.The toiletries were half used. There was hair on the tub/shower wall. They tried to charge me $75 for my service animal which took 30min of my time on the phone to correct (yes I have documentation for the animal). They were even argumentative on the phone when I called down about the “pet fee" they added to the bill. They also charged $20 for parking. All around TERRIBLE experience! Lodgers BEWARE!!!

They’re was a few incidents with my original room, but stuff accommodate me to a nicer room. My only complain will be calling to get maintenance personnel to fix a issue in my restroom. Overall, my trip was great, but I almost fell on my back luckily I only slipped in the restroom. There was a leak on the toilet and water was all over, called it in. No one came to check it out.

Had to switch between three different rooms and none of them had hot water, lukewarm to cold. One of the room’s bath tub stop lever was hanging out of the wall. The parking gate stayed up for both days, allowing access to non-guest. There should not have been a parking fee for a broken safety gate.

Hotel was great staff amazing but the billing went haywire was suppose to be charged 200 instead was charged a total of 700 on two different credit cards front desk did a good job trying to fix it but as you know it takes one second to take then 21 business days to go back on your card

They gave me a rate of $89 since I’m a patient at MD Anderson and includes free breakfast buffet, shuttle service to the hospital. Thy have a nice bar and restaurant that opens at 4 pm! My room is always a suite and the staff is friendly and I have no complaints! God Bless these people as wonderful to patients and family members.

When we tried to book with their reservation desk via phone, the lady on the other line kept “misreading and raised the price three times. We finally hung up and just booked the room through a third party site because it was a way better price and a solid price, except for when we were told we had to pay over twenty dollars for parking which they don’t tell you about until you arrive. In addition, the bed was very uncomfortable with the comforter extremely bumpy and thready, not fluffy at all. The pillows were very hard too. In addition, the towels felt like they were large exfoliators, with how rough and worn out they were. For a Crowne Plaza which was suppose to be higher end and quality, this was extremely disappointing and not worth the price at all. A La Quinta or Super 8 would have been better honestly.
