Horrible experience we had. The service is poor, most of the staffs are rude and doesn’t know how to behave with the guests. Very arrogant attitude. No safety as staffs can come at anytime to your door and bang the door with no cutesy and no privacy. The chef will argue although knowing that they are not providing the said food. The duplex was dirty with flies, mosquitoes and lizards roaming around, it clearly seemed that no pest control was done nor the rooms were cleaned properly after being check out and handed over to the other guests, so unprofessional. Even the check out time is given wrong in their website which is 11am but at the property you come to know that it is 10am check out time, so they are clearly misleading the guests. I have experienced and hence had written the review, so I'm mentioning it more specifically; 1. If the pest control was done then there would have not been such issues in your duplex which we complained throughout our stay. Your management also said a guy named 'Sapan' who does your pest control will come and do the needful in the evening. But he didn't come. If it's a false allegation then I would have not known these things or the name of the person. 2. The experience we had was horrible and hence we shared the same. 3. Your duplex is a connected cottage with common walls and doors,and not sound proof also. So if a pin drops also sound will transfer from one duplex to another. In the afternoon if people are talking or having lunch so that means it disturbs others. Being an adult we have that much of ability to understand how to behave with others and how to adjust, so with disturbance from the next duplex also we didn't complain. But without knowing the reality your management came and misbehaved with us who are guests as well. So you people should learn appropriate behavior as already said by you, you are in the hospitality sector. 4. About one of us who came to you was to understand why did your staffs did the inappropriate behavior,not for saying sorry as she was also very much aware of the incident as she was present in that very situation. When 3 women are there, they are your guests as well, you can't come with 4 to 5 of your men staff and harass someone. When asked at that very moment only your staffs only had no answers to the allegations which were made. 5. If your guests had said all good then you should again check your reviews and rating in several websites. 6. About your check out time if you are so genuine then you should change your check out timing given in several websites, which is given wrong. Saying only on phone is not professionalism. 7. Even during check in, the behavior of your staffs was not that polite. It's very sad if this kind of behavior you provide to your guests as being in hospitality sector it won't give you good reviews or guests. Kindly take this as a constructive criticism and work on it. 訪訪客用戶This is the first time i stayed at gharana resort. It's very near from kolkata. Just 30-40 km from central kolkata on the durgapur expressway just before the singer bridge. The property is well decorated. It cottage, executive and premium rooms. Swimming pool is also there. A beautiful lawn in the center. We took our two dogs to the place. It's pet friendly. The food was nice and not too expensive as well. You can try it out if you wish to spend a day at this resort.
