翁弗勒爾親子飯店

Very nice location, beautiful property, nice restaurant. Rooms are comfortable, but full of “obstacles” for us to hit our heads and feet, and there is very little wardrobe. Service is not compatible with a Relais et Chateau. Tables outside were left with yesterday’s glasses and plates, and despite the nice and pleasant places to sit outside, overlooking the river, since it rained in the morning, all cushions were left outside, and now, with a beautiful afternoon, they are wet, and there is no place to sit. I asked for some cushions for the chairs, but was told that “we are desolee, they are all wet…”. Not a R&C standard. Not to return. Its a pity.

Not sure how this hotel merits 4 stars. In price maybe, but nothing else. Unable to check in to our room until 4:30 for a start. Service was mediocre at best. I understand a historic building has its charm, and I’m more than comfortable paying over the odds for hotels in great locations but the price of this place and the absolute shocking state of the rooms left a lot to be desired. Half the electrics in the room didn’t work nor the telephone to tell them nothing worked. The sinks wouldn’t drain when brushing your teeth. It wasn’t that hot outside but the room was hot to the point we had 2 fans going and all the windows open. Sadly with the windows open it meant we had to listen to everything going on outside all night long. The walking tours apparently end outside the hotel at 10:30 and then multiple rounds of applause. When we finally managed to get to sleep we were woken at 5:40 by the rubbish collection and the emptying of about 500 glass bottles. The staff were uninterested with the feedback “it’s an old hotel” then don’t charge such extortionate prices per room. Would not recommend this hotel.

Notre séjour au Clos de Grace a été tout simplement merveilleux. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par l'équipe, ce qui nous a immédiatement fait sentir chez nous. L'établissement est un véritable havre de paix et de convivialité, impeccablement entretenu et décoré avec un grand souci du détail. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, avec des lits d'excellente qualité qui garantissent une nuit de sommeil réparatrice. De plus, Le Clos de Grace offre toutes les installations possibles pour un séjour relaxant, d'une salle de sport bien équipée à une superbe piscine. L'environnement est idyllique, entouré de nature et de calme, ce qui ajoute à l'atmosphère sereine de ce lieu unique.
