翁弗勒爾Blockhaus Honfleur附近住宿

This is our go-to hotel for our annual Normandy/Honfleur holiday and, as expected, we received a warm welcome, great service, fabulous staff and quiet and comfortable rooms. One area that could be improved is the breakfast. Meat and fish products are served next to vegetarian/vegan selection and some of the fresh fruit was over ripe (bordering on inedible on some days). Otherwise, I can fully recommend this hotel and plan to return.

The hotel is perfectly situated and the room very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Slightly disappointed that some breakfast items had run out and were not replenished half an hour before service closed but that was the only negative.

Bit of a mixed review for l'ecrin. It has a nice garden and the pool area is fine. Decor in the hotel is a wild eclectic mix - busts and odd collectibles perched on every available nook. On the negative side, the room we had did not match the photos on the booking site. Others have commented that the room depends on which of the multiple buildings you are in. Bathroom in our room was fine, but floorboards creaked under the heavily used carpet. The courtyard is used as a car park, which is fine as parking in Honfleur is premium. Somehow the look and feel of the hotel fitted with the friendly, but disorganized, slightly dusty feel of Honfleur. Staff were friendly and helpful. The whole experience was genuinely fine, but slightly madcap.

Déçue par cet hôtel dont les chambres manquent d entretien, de confort et d insonorisation , ce qui fait que vous êtes réveillé au moindre bruit. Ma chambre était placée près de la porte battante qui est ouverte jour et nuit (donc pas sécurisée puisqu’il est possible de rentrer sans clé de l extérieur). La piscine rattrape un peu les défauts du séjour mais elle n est pas entretenue. Quant au hammam, il était fermé! Je n ai pas eu l envie de manger sur place. Je conseille d aller en ville car le port est à 15 min à pieds (point positif)

Sadly our stay at this wonderful, almost fairytale hotel was cut short by my husband slipping a disc and having to return home after only 48 hours. The personnel at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding, bringing meals to our room as my husband couldn’t move. It was such a shame as our room (a junior suite) was beautiful with sofa and dining area as well as the bedroom with the best pillows ever and with a view across the estuary and out to sea. I spent time on my own sampling the comfortable lounge, bar and dining rooms which are all very roomy and full of character in this stunning old building. Everything was just perfect and Honfleur itself in very easy walking distance. We hope to return one day and highly recommend this lovely place.
