The place was difficult to find and when we did our room had been opened for us . After contacting Rebecca , I had to get information on the internet as there were not one instruction about the place . Also, she said there was no need to lock out place up . And would not give us a code . She said it was safe . We were not apart of the B and B with most rooms . Ours suite was below and separate. When I asked her about breakfast I was told it was not included . I sent her a picture of the description where it said we received breakfast . Oh well . During our three nights there , we were the only people at Kona Palace. The views were spectacular, but the garbage had not been picked up and the place was dirty . Example , floors and some glassware . Plus the toilet . This is the first negative review I have ever really given and we stay at a lot of places every year . We checked out at 7:45 am this morning and curious if anyone , owner / housekeeper stopped by.

Room was described as having a refrigerator, microwave and furnished lanai. There was no refrigerator or microwave and the lanai was shared with other guests.
When we informed owners that we were not pleased with the accommodations, I was told that if we left we would get a full refund.
I returned to the room to contact ******* about our change of plans. They contacted Rebecca, who stated I'd be billed for one night, even though we were leaving and were told that a full refund would be issued. We had booked it for 3 nights, originally.
My wife went to speak with Rebecca, the owner, to explain our dissatisfaction and to state that her husband had told me that I'd receive a full refund.
Rebecca was rude and disrespectful to my wife. She had been present when her husband told me I'd receive a full refund if we left.
Her dishonesty and rudeness was very disturbing!
Please DO NOT PLAN TO STAY at this B&B!

I wasn't planning on posting any review but the last interaction with this property owner was unpleasant and needs action.
She offered to refund some of our payment in return for 5 stars review which make me question all their previous misleading ones.
Other disturbing encounter, she kept talking and preaching about her religion which mede me and my family uncomfortable.
I would like to send her a public message that our people (unlike hers) do not sell or rent our opinions for any amount of money.
It is worth to mention that we booked 4 nights and end up staying only one night (without refund) because of the situation in that house. The room and bed were so small and my son had to spend his night sleeping on a uncomfortable folding COT.

Great stay!
Beautiful property! Beautiful vaulted ceilings in great room. Had a great breakfast on a huge Lanai overlooking the ocean. Very accommodating and friendly Hostess.

Rebecca is amazing. Her and her husbands property is located viewing the ocean with great sunset views. The place is very well taken care of. The driveway wasn’t tricky if you follow her instructions, stay to the right, and drive slow. Breakfast was great all homemade by Rebecca using fruits on her property too. Great conversation and company.

Is it not a good place for more than one night. Don't choose this place. We stayed 6 nights, they didn't change the blankets once, they only changed the bath towels once. There's no privacity. They offer free breakfast. We took it for 2 days, until we saw how she prepares the juice. She squeezes oranges full of mold, we asked her why she does it like that and she said there is not problem, that it does not taste bad and she has always done it that way. The frige that is available is dirty and moldy.Your dog make pee in our room.

We enjoyed our stay and were sorry we were only there for 1 night. The driveway is steep and a little tricky but once there the property, including the room is very nice and the view from the Lanai is simply spectacular. Rebecca is a great host and served up a wonderful breakfast.

Rebecca & Keith were amazing hosts! They gave fantastic suggestions for dining and activities. Their home is welcoming, private, and has stunning ocean views. Rebecca makes delicious breakfasts, with fresh fruit from their property, including freshly squeezed juice. She even gave us each a star fruit to take with us on our day trip! R & K are kind and generous hosts. I feel like we have made lifelong friends. I definitely would return, and recommend this lovely oasis!
