Upstairs: bedroom with doublebed, balcony and in sleeping loft two beds. Obligatory cleaning deposit 150 € payable on arrival. Homely, comfortable log cottage on forest-covered grassplot. Swimming shore has current (running water): this water (Kietävälänvirta) does not freeze over in winter. Ferry by water 0.3 km (sounds of the ferry can be heard). Closest neighbor is rental cottage 4644, 100 m by boat, 300 m by road. Owner rents out e.g. baby’s cot, baby feeding chair, 5 bicycles, life jackets, two marine aluminium 10 hp Buster boat. Home-baked confectionary to order. Nature trail starts at cottage which is joined to municipal nature trail network. Several trails of varying length. Additionally, owner has a tepee approx. 3 km away, which is a good destination for a walk. In Puumala there is 60 km long bicycle path Saaristoreitti for cyclists. Saimaa seal watching tours from Puumala. The cabin has a large 50 m² glazed terrace. 29 km to the northeast from Puumala, lake Saimaa 20 m, shallow sand beach, own pier and rowing boat, wooden cabin with boarded outer walls (built in 2000), spacious living room and living room/kitchen, two bedrooms (both with double bed), WC, sauna (wood-burning sauna stove), washroom, dressing room. In rainy weather, the best thing is the large glazed terrace with a great view of lake Saimaa. The Saimaa Archipelago Route (156 km) and the Puumala Archipelago Route (60 km) offer cyclists the best of Saimaa. Admire the stunning archipelago scenery, cross the lakes by using bike ferries and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, as well as the local delicacies along the way. The distance from the cabin along the route is 21 km.

Welcome to spend your vacation amidst the stunning scenery of Lake Suur-Saimaa (Greater Saimaa) and the municipality of Puumala! This spacious 100 m² cabin, built in 2001, offers the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying the tranquility of nature. The nearest neighbor is about half a kilometer away. Wooden cabin with boarded outer walls. Part of the structure is made from old hand-carved logs, creating a cozy atmosphere inside. The cabin features a spacious living room/kitchen, two bedrooms—one with a fixed double bed and the other with two separate single beds for two people. In addition to a separate lakeside sauna, the cabin has an electric sauna, a bathroom with a shower, a dressing room, and a separate WC. There's also a charming living area on a glazed porch connected to a second entrance. The sofa bed in the living area can be used as an extra bed. Next to the cabin, there is a fixed masonry barbecue area, and by the shore, a wood-heated sauna with a separate dressing room. Water for washing can be heated in the water tank attached to the sauna stove. The beach is gently sloping with a sandy bottom. The cabin comes with its own rowing boat. This is a dream cabin destination for those who appreciate the peace of nature and beautiful lake views!
