If this unit is not the very nicest in Giant Steps, it has to be near the top of the list. This unit was completely remodeled with completion in January 2014. This remodel included new lighting, flooring, cabinets, doors, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and walk in tile showers in both the master and guest bathroom.This unit has it's own dedicated wireless access to the internet so you don't have issues accessing the internet through the shared complex router.This unit has been furnished with a new pillow top queen mattress in the master bedroom and all new linens and towels. It has a new leather sofa sleeper and leather love seat. There is a new 50' Smart TV in the family room and a new 39' flat screen in the master bedroom. This quaint & cozy condo has recently been renovated in late 2019. It has beautiful new hardwood laminate flooring and all new appliances in the kitchen and bath. The condo is located at Cedar Breaks Lodge and it can comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults, or five if you have small children. DETAILS: Two all-new queen-size mattresses, with memory foam toppers. Entertainment center with 35 inches flat-screen TV and DVD Player, small kitchenette, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, and a small eating area with a table and chairs. The Condo is located at the 3.5 star Cedar Breaks lodge and our guests have access to all the amenities: One restaurant and one full access Bar, arcade, large indoor pool, 2 large hot tubs, fitness center, dry sauna, and steam room, spa treatments (extra charge by the hotel), Free WiFi, Children's play area, barbecue picnic area, covered and heated parking, concierge service, game room with pool table, elevator service from basement parking, free laundry. The Brianhead ski resort is within walking distance and the shuttle stops by every hour during ski season. You can ski to the lift from this condo if there is enough fresh snow on the ground. Across the street is the new Brianhead Adventures ATV, snowmobile rental area. - The condo can accommodate a small family or 4 adults. There's a microwave, small refrigerator and fully functioning kitchenette in the unit. All appliances are new. - Don't forget your swimsuit! There's a great indoor pool area with a heated pool and two hot tubs. There are a dry sauna and steam room. There is also a massage and spa located in the main lodge. ACTIVITY DETAILS: - In the winter guest can enjoy affordable world-class skiing, snowboarding! There is an inter-tubing park near giant steps. Additionally, there is snowmobiling rentals and lots of free sledding areas for the kids. Brian offers winter recreation areas for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and year-round access to Panguitch Lake for ice fishing and Bryce Canyon, and Zions National Parks via Hwy 143. Be sure if you need any ski gear or rentals as well as friendly local advice stop by Georges Ski Shop! - In the summer enjoy hiking, fishing, mountain bike riding, ATVing, motorcycling, and dirt-biking. Our condo is close to Bryce Canyon (1 hour) and Zion's National Parks (1.5 hours) and Cedar Breaks Monument (15 minutes) via Hwy 143 for a scenic route. There are Nearby lakes, streams, and ponds that are stocked with trout. The closest is Brian fish pond is nearby giant steps and Georges Ski Shop. In the fall guests can enjoy Oktoberfest. This is an all-season resort. July 4th is a highlight with many activities and fireworks at the resort. The Grand Canyon is approximately 3.5 hours from the condo. Panguitch Lake is well known for its huge cutthroat, tiger, and rainbow trout, just a 35-45-minute drive from the condo. As well for an interesting trip take a detour on the way there to mammoth creek caverns for some awesome family-friendly cave exploration. These are just a few of the amazing things to do in and around Brian Head. Welcome to our “Cinema Condo”! After renting many places in Brian Head over several years, we purchased this unit and incorporated all the amenities we wanted into one fantastic vacation rental. Plus, we host a fun "Cinema" theme throughout, where you can test your movie knowledge and discover a variety of nostalgic film references in each room. We are in Giant Steps Building 1 on the first floor. This is the closest ski-in / ski-out residential building on the mountain. You literally walk down the hall and can be at the Giant Steps Express lift in under 3 minutes. (Yes, we timed it… and if you are visiting in the summer and not carrying skis/snowboards through snow, you can get there in less than a minute.) The Snow Tubing Park is halfway between the Cinema Condo and the Giant Steps Express lift (a good 20 -30 second walk from our door). An epic sledding hill for the kids is also right outside, so feel free to use the sleds on our porch. After an awesome time out on the slopes, take the “Shotgun” trail down the mountain and ski/board or mountain bike back to the doorsteps of our building.As you prepare your meals in our fully stocked kitchen, with an air fryer, crockpot, toaster, oven, and microwave - take turns playing the old-school Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) or "Back to the Future" monopoly with your friends and family. The "Office Space" working desk with a wall-attached monitor is also there if you need to get TPS reports or other work done during your stay.Enjoy all your streaming platforms on our 4k TV while sitting by the fireplace... or explore the "Owner's Movie Essentials" selection of Blu-ray/DVDs curated by the owners (2 entertainment industry professionals). This renovation was completed in 2015 . This unit is the premier unit in Giant Steps that is available for guest rental. We wanted to have a luxury unit for ourselves, so we went down to the studs in this unit and replaced everything with high quality materials. We recognize that we are charging a bit more than the other rental units in Giant Steps, but we believe you will recognize the value when you choose to stay in our family condo. The Giant Steps property was built in 1985 and many of the units for rent are nearly the same as they were 30 years ago. We wanted a place that was modern and comfortable. This unit features stainless appliances, granite counter tops, 55' & 40' Samsung Smart TVs, WIFI, upgraded showers (we removed the shower tub and built an over-sized shower in the master bathroom), new memory foam queen mattress with new bedroom set in the master bedroom, new kitchen table, and new front room furniture. All new dishes, pans, small appliances, etc. All bathroom and bedroom linens are new.This units sleeps 8. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom. There is full bed and two singles in the guest room. The front room couches pulls out to a queen sleeper. As you walk out the door of this Giant Steps building, you are on the ski slope. This is truly a ski in and ski out condo. This unit is also unique as it has beautiful pine and aspens right behind the back patio. Our condo is next to the Giant Steps Ski Lift & Lodge. It’s a short walk across the parking lot to the lifts, restaurants, Brian Head General Store, and tubing hill. Enjoy quick access to the ski lifts as well as mountain biking trails & hiking in the summer months. Bristlecone Park is south of our building which offers sledding/tubing in the winter months as well as fishing, kayaking, picnic tables, basketball, pickle ball & volleyball courts along with fire pits in the summer. (Outdoor equipment provided)Our condo has been beautifully remodeled and has 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom’s (Sleeps 6). The master bedroom has a king size bed and separate bathroom. The upstairs loft has a queen size bed plus built-in twin bunk beds with 2nd bathroom. The second loft/kids room has 2 twin beds with lots of games. Laundry closet is also located upstairs. Our condo is great for families with ample room for everyone. The updated kitchen includes everything you should need during your stay. All linens provided.
