I stayed just one night in the Eagle's Nest, but even though my stay was very short, this managed to feel like home and I was sad to leave. Not everything is luxurious: the kitchen is pretty basic, the shower was only so-so, but boy was this place comfortable. At first I thought the bed was too soft. I was wrong. It was crazy comfortable. The cabin was fresh and spacious and inviting. And, of course, the views from the large deck. Wow. I guess one could nitpick and point out that the property is oriented away from the jawdropping Kachemak Bay and toward the merely stunningly beautiful Cook Inlet -- but it was all so serene. Loved the hot tub too and it's worth walking around the grounds to catch all the angles. Check in and check out were a breeze. Just really loved every second of my less than 24 hours here. Hope to return.

Stayed in the Puffin cabin for four nights -- a great base from which to explore Homer and beyond! The cabin is indeed round, but much more substantial than what you might think of as a yurt -- it's a house. Very cozy, nice bathroom, great view, good privacy; definitely well-suited for hang-out / relaxation time. Well stocked with bathroom amenities, clean, good heating throughout. And, yes, we made s'mores at the fire pit. One note: the kitchenette has minimal cookware, and does not have a stove or oven, just a microwave, but there is a gas grill on the porch. If you're planning on cooking, say, Thanksgiving dinner, plan with that in mind. Pretty minor point; I would recommend the cabin and stay again without hesitation.

A little pricey but quiet and convenient to town. Beautiful view of Kachemak Bay. Bears Den and Wolves Den require the use of a lengthy spiral staircase so it's not advised for folks with mobility issues. Concrete floors are cold and blackout curtains aren't available on some windows so that could be an issue during the long days.

Stayed a night this past week. Had never stayed in a property that offered differing room types like these, but they were unique and cool. Unit we had was large and had two floors. The bottom contained the beds and was a little like sleeping in the basement (beds were good). Upstairs living area had warm wood finishes, a deck with an incredible view and the kitchen/bathroom. Property has an increidible view of the bay and mountains. There is an outdoor fire pit which looked invited. Staff we interacted with were super helpful and friendly. Only drawbacks were a little road noise and place needs a little TLC (paint, touch ups etc.) Overall, very happy we stayed.

Room was perfect. It had everything we needed in the room, even a bag of popcorn. Definitely coming again.

I look forward to work trips to Homer in large part due to the fact that I get to stay at Kenai Peninsula Suites. For someone who travels a lot, this place is a little slice of heaven away from home. So clean, comfortable and quiet!

Super amazing room with an incredible view of the ocean. Second time staying and we are definitely coming back.

This was our favorite property that we stayed at on our trip to Alaska. The room was comfortable and the view was spectacular.

Really beautiful property, watched a bear on the cliff below and they had great campfire setup with wood already there.
