Zu einem ganz exclusiven Event extra dorthin gereist und auch übernachtet. Schloss Hotel mit Blick aufs Wasser. Kunst im Park.Pool und Wellness. Anreise vom Stadt-Flughafen Belfast mit Zug (Richtung Bangor)Nur wenige Meter Fußweg vom Bahnsteig bis Hotel.

Ein wunderbares Ambiente in sehr schöner Umgebung mit sehr freundlichem Personal und schönen Zimmern. Sehr britisch. Einziger (negativer) Kritikpunkt wäre der Wasserdruck der Dusche. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen. Ein ganz schöner Aufenthalt.

Hotel excepcional, às fotos são muito fiéis ao que você vai encontrar. É um castelo com interior muito bem decorado, com muito bom gosto. Tudo muito organizado, staff muito cordial, ambiente interno e externos lindos e ficamos em uma suite maravilhosa.

Unser Aufenthalt (6 Nächte) in diesem ehemaligen Bischofs Palast aus dem 18. Jahrhundert bleibt uns unvergesslich. Unser Zimmer, die Lewis Suit, war geräumig, stilvoll möbliert und hatte einen schönen Ausblick auf die Parkanlage und den Lough Belfast. Nachts konnte man selbst bei geöffnetem Fenster absolut ruhig schlafen. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, ebenso wie der Service, der überall im Hotel freundlich und aufmerksam war. Selbst als fröhliche Kinder im Pyjama sich im Frühstücksraum aufhielten, blieb der Service freundlich und professionell, sowie man allgemein im Hotel den Kleinsten viel Wertschätzung entgegenbrachte. Im Spa war das dann aber auch mitunter etwas schwierig für uns, da wir keine freien Liegen bekamen. Vielleicht wäre es eine gute Idee, ein paar mehr Liegen im Spa aufzustellen. Zum Schluss möchten wir uns noch einmal recht herzlich bei dem Manager Mr. Nayeem für seine tolle Unterstützung bedanken, als er ein Problem, das wir mit dem Roomservice hatten, sehr entgegenkommend und professionell löste. Ein Manager, wie man sich ihn in jedem Top-Hotel wünschen würde. Nahe beim Hotel gibt es auch eine sehr gute Zuganbindung in die City von Belfast. Und auch mit dem Taxi sind es nur maximal 15 Minuten Fahrtzeit.

My family and I stayed at the Culloden hotel from the 2nd-4th January and I’m sorry to say that we were very disappointed with our stay. The room we had was very tired, dirty and in need of repair. The tea and coffee tray was covered in stains from previous guests and hadn’t even been wiped down. We had requested a travel cot for our 7 month old baby as we had forgotten to pack our own and when the travel cot arrived it was dirty and had quite a few holes in it. The base of the travel cot was very close to the floor and for some reason the floor in our room was freezing. One side of the room was warm under the heater and the other side of the room was very cold. Because of this I had to put a lot of cushions and bedding under the travel cot mattress to raise it to make sure our son wasn’t cold during the night and block the sides with suitcases to stop the draught. The bathroom fixtures were dirty and in need of repair, cobwebs on the windows, carpet coming away from the wall among other things. This is not the 5 star experience we were expecting. We were booked into the Cultra Inn for dinner on the first night and that experience was also extremely disappointing. We waited almost 45 minutes to be served. The plates from our starter were still on the table when the dinner plates were brought out and my dinner was over cooked and over priced for what it was. For £30, the sea bass was extremely dry with a couple of stems of broccoli and a bowl of chips. No sauce was put on the plate compared to what was on the menu and I had to ask for extra sauce. Breakfast the following morning was fine however we were asked to wait over half an hour for a table for breakfast. This was the first stay we had away as a family with our son and it was definitely not what we were expecting. I have attached images of the condition of the room and the meal, in the hope that these issues can be addressed before someone else is as disappointed as we were.
