I went with my mum and my dad and my mum didn’t like the food she said “it was cooked yesterday and put in a pot of water “ I tryed it ,it was dry , and not that nice but rest of the food was Fine and the staff very sweet and welcoming, thanks you pike and Eel

Been coming to the pike and eel on and off for over 10 years, absolutely love it. Nice food, nice staff, great location, a real gem , do yourself a favour and get down there. The accommodation is comfortable and the main parts of the original building are quirky and cosy.

Went for dinner, lovely location with plenty of room to sit on the lawn outside . Alot of customers with dogs off lead roaming about, ok if you like dogs. Staff lovely. The food I thought was overpriced to be honest , my husband ordered the steak which was tasty but tiny , came with a sauce and side of choice, no garnish side salad etc just the side you ordered( would expect more for the price). Be nice if there was steak chips rather than cheap fries . I had the vegetarian burger which was tasty but again just came with a plate of cheap fries no garnish or side salad again for the price I’d expect a bit more and presentation is lacking .

Nice location, but no disabled parking, makes things very difficult when the car park is busy. There is a ramp at the main door, but its not much use if one has to walk about 100 metres when on has limited mobility. ................... ........

Overpriced accommodation food and drink. Initial room options very poor- then upgraded & rooms adequate but nothing special. Attempted to charge us twice for accommodation & more than advertised & contracted for breakfast! Miles from anywhere down single track road. Pleasant view of marina, good parking and helpful staff. Quirky decor in places.

Visited with a friend and we were re-allocated rooms as we both booked twins and each of us got a double so great customer service! My room was nice except a couple of issues, it was the bathroom that was the issue, firstly and I know it’s hard to fix this but it was over the kitchen and all I could smell was curry….secondly the floor times in the bathroom were broken and very sharp, I reported this when I checked out, but this could cause a h&s issue… We did not eat at the pub so cannot comment on the food and breakfast was an additional £15 so we left and went to Maccys down the road..overall a nice place to stay.
