Woodside is a 4 bedroom detached brick and flint cottage. The cottage sleeps 8 in comfort across 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. InsideAs you enter the cottage there is a wide corridor with the sitting room on one side and the snug on the other. The sitting room has two big sofas with seating for 8 and a couple of window seats with views of the front garden. There is a smart TV with BBC Iplayer and other online services, a DVD player, and a wood burner which makes the room really warm on cooler evenings. We provide guests with a full basket of logs. The Snug has TV, DVD, Xbox and lots of board games, jigsaws and kids toys.Back into the entrance hallway and through to the kitchen which is 30ft long with large dining table for 8 (plus kids seats and a high chair if needed). The kitchen has a range cooker, large fridge freezer and is extensively equipped for home cooking. The games room is accessed through the kitchen and has a 6ft multi games table which can be configured as a pool table, air hockey table or compact table tennis table. Hours of fun in here (and it's well sound proofed from the rest of the house!). Beyond this is a utility room which also has a door to front garden and parking area so good for bringing in muddy walking boots.There is one bedroom downstairs with a king sized bed. There is a downstairs bathroom which can be accessed off the hallway or the bedroom. Both doors have locks so it can be made into an ensuite.Back to the entrance hall and up the stairs leads to a lovely peaceful sitting area with views of garden and sea from the loveseat (its a great spot for reading and the cottages book collection is kept up here). The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and view out across the fields and local bowling green. Of the 2 further bedrooms, there is 1 twin, and 1 bedroom with zip and link beds which can be configured as a twin or super king. The main bathroom is spacious with big walk in shower and a separate bath.Back downstairs, French doors lead out to the enclosed back garden. The rear garden can also be accessed through the games room.OutsideGood sized landscaped gardens with decking areas, lawns and a 'beach hut'. The front garden has lovely views up the hill towards Kelling Heath and the North Norfolk Stream railway in the distance, whilst the back garden is fully enclosed and opens straight out from the kitchen patio doors so is very safe for younger kids. The beach hut holds a Weber BBQ, garden games such as badminton and croquet, and a table for two. Crabbing nets and buckets are also stored in here along with plenty of bats and balls for the garden.The back garden as has reclining loveseats which are perfect for a glass of wine and some star gazing on a clear night, whilst the main decked area has a table and seating for 8.There is off-road parking for 3 cars (4 at a push), and a fast EV chargepoint.Local AreaThe village of Weybourne boasts a wonderful pub, the Ship Inn, and a local shop and deli, the Village Store, just 2 minutes walk away. The beach is less than a 1/2 mile walk away. Weybourne also boasts a station on the North Norfolk railway (the 'Poppy Line'), along with Weybourne Priory and All Saints Church.The area is excellent for walking, enjoying the countryside and coast. There are opportunities to see wildlife, sea-fishing on Weybourne Beach and bird-watching are very popular.For rainy days, Sheringham is 3 miles up the road and has a large swimming pool, shops and activities, as does Cromer a further 2 miles on.No smoking. A lovely spacious lodge situated in the peaceful grounds of Weybourne Hall Park next to Spring Beck that runs through the village and next to the ruins of the old Priory.Spring Beck Lodge is a centrally heated two bedroomed property with all the facilities you will need to enjoy a relaxing break away from home - whatever the weather! The light and airy open plan lounge has comfortable two and three seater sofas so you have plenty of space. There is a 'Smart' TV with freesat offering many channels along with the facility to sign in to the streaming services such as BBC iplayer, Netflix and Amazon Prime (subject to your subscriptions) along with a DVD player. A large 6 seater dining table overlooks the decking and the beck beyond. There is wifi available along with a small selection of games.The kitchen is well equipped with a Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, Electric steamer, built in fan oven with grill and gas hob, washer dryer and a dishwasher. There is also an undercounter fridge and separate freezer. Utensils and a good selection of pots and pans are there for you as well for the days you want to dine in.Bedroom 1 has a comfortable double bed with overhead lights, plenty of fitted furniture, a walk in wardrobe and dressing table with a wall mirror. There is a hairdryer for your convenience and a TV. There is an en-suite shower room too which is ideal if you're travelling with younger children or friends.Bedroom 2 again has plenty of fitted furniture providing ample storage. There are twin beds and a TV.The main bathroom provides a bath if you fancy a nice long soak, with a shower over.OutsideThe lounge area has French doors leading to a lovely private decking area. There is a table with 4 chairs if you fancy eating al fresco along with a separate rattan style sofa set for sitting and enjoying the surroundings. The Surrounding Area.Weybourne is surrounded by woodland and heathland and the area provides excellent opportunities for walking and birdwatching.Spring Beck Lodge is within a short walking distance to the village shop which provides all your essential groceries and serves delicious take away coffee and pastries. Weybourne is also served by the local pub 'The Ship Inn' which serves excellent food. Booking is recommended, particularly in the busier summer months! The pebble beach is a short stroll away and this links you onto the North Norfolk Coastal Path. The Muckleburgh Collection is also in Weybourne. It's the UK's largest collection of historic tanks, armoured cars and other military vehicles, housed at Weybourne Camp.Further afield, there are many things to see and do in and around the surrounding areas. The kitchen is perfectly positioned for both the inside dining areas as well as access to the patio for all those barbecue days! To the west of the house the back hallway doubles up as a utility area with a door to the garden and terrace, and there is a separate ground floor WC leading from here. This room is often used as a breakout television or gaming room, and can also be used as a study as it features a pretty workstation and good internet connectivity.Library (Landing):There is a spacious landing with stunning Graham and Greene daybed, luxury velvet Graham and Greene mattress, soft throws and plump pillows - perfect for curling up with one of the many books in the bookcase!
