We visited for a cruise from Miami, arrived late morning, the Staff was great and let us check in early. They held our luggage while we made the 3 min walk to the Hollywood Beach/ Boardwalk. Food, drinks, and beach all within a 10 min walk, the location is fantastic and the inn was a cozy room with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed here twice within 10 days and we loved the beach lifestyle each time. We will stay again for the next cruise or just to visit Hollywood Beach. Fantastic price, great location and tons to see.

The Ocean Inn is a perfect spot! We arrived on n a late flight, our room information was available once we were on the property. The room was super cute, had everything you need. A block away from the boardwalk. I would definitely stay here again!

I arrived at the hotel at 6:15 pm. It had a cute outside setup, and the rooms were accessible from the outside. Very small amount of rooms. The office was locked! Apparently the office hours are 10am-4pm, but check in is 4pm!!! There were 2 phone numbers on the door. I called the first 3 times but no one answered. I called the next number which was a different property. She contacted someone to come help me. He came and tapped in a code on the door to open it, but it wouldn't open! He worked on it for 10 minutes and finally got it open. I hadn't eaten all day, but I was afraid to leave in case I couldn't get back into the room. The room was extremely old, but had potential. Unfortunately the floors needed mopping. My feet were so dirty after walking on the floors. The bed had a deep dip in the middle, toilet seat loose, blinds broken, tub rusty, and the list goes on. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

Bugs Hotel staff sent a pre-arribal text that needed a decipher ring to understand. And then the staff didn't respond to my text about parking. Disappointed upon arrival as the website lead me to believe it is right on the beach, when it is actually several buildings separated. The toilet wouldn't flush. While i was getting ready, my son laid on the bed for about 10 minutes, and when we left found 3 bug bites on his legs. We were going to a 7:30p game at hard rock stadium, so couldn't really deal with it immediately, but when we got back from the game at midnight, we just got our stuff out of the room and got a room at the Marriott

There was still urine in the toilet when we arrived which led me to believe the bathroom hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. There were flies and gnats flying around the room. This was a last min booking, so I booked it b/c of the cheap price and b/c it was close to the cruise ports, but with proper planning you can certainly find much better than this hotel at a decent price in the area!

Dont stay in this hotel they dont clean it i had to sweep the floor and go get my own towel... They do have theft too we left our beach chair on the balcony and someone stold them and my friends watch got stolen out of the room door was locked...

Love the quirkiness of the place and it's only about a block from the beach. Bed was comfortable. So MUCH better of a choice for me than an airport hotel, which is what I initially intended until I spotted this hotel. Glad I switched. That said, I've read some reviews and if you're the type who needs the sanitized offerings of upscale hotels, this place is definitely not for you as it is an older facility.

Served it’s purpose We was here overnight for cruise next day. I don’t wanna complain but the rooms need upgrades Great Location, steps from the boardwalk. Beds are horrible, a safe area though. The outside area was nice place to sit for winddown. If you’re not expecting much this is your hotel!

Great for one night, excellent location I have seen terrible reviews for this place and I was a bit apprehensive but we are pretty low maintenance, we don't need much for one night before a cruise but at the same time, won't stay at Motel 6 or Super 8 despite our budget. Calvin was incredible, we got in early and he was still cleaning rooms but let us change in our room he was still cleaning and left our luggage locked up. This is a SMALL hotel, they do things a little different. We did not have bugs in our room, yes the lampshades were cracked, the water pressure was pretty weak in room 13 and no matter what I did the water temp kept changing and yes, the shower curtain liner had mildew stains. Other than that the bathroom and rest of the room was clean and actually that bed was more comfortable than the cruise ship bed. Ocean Inn staff, please get new shower curtain liners, easy cheap fix! We would stay again for a night before a cruise. Small hotel, they do have a few rooms on the 2nd floor so if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to specifically ask for a room on the first floor. Literally 2 blocks from Hollywood Beach and the Broadwalk, great location. The air conditioner was kind of loud, which was great for us since we sleep with a white noise machine anyway but some people might not like that. We stayed on a Saturday night so not much construction happening across the street when we were there but I imagine it is a noisy location during the week with the new place they are building.
