I recommend this hotel! We stayed there after they were only open for 10 days. It is new, clean, and fresh. The floors are all tiled in the halls, rooms, elevators, and lobby. The free breakfast is filling. They did not have gluten-free breads/muffins, but there was a lot I could still eat. The yogurt machine is so delicious. They are pet friendly for $75 fee, and they greet your puppy with a treat at check in! There is a fitness center and small indoor pool, but I did not use them.

This is a new hotel that can be difficult to find. You are better off putting in Home2 Suites in your GPS as the Tru Hilton is right behind it. No one was at the front desk when we arrived but a staff member came quickly enough to check us in. We stayed in a double Queen room that I found to be rather small. Beds are firm but I slept ok. The mini fridge temperature adjustment is behind the fridge which meant I had to pull it all the way out to reach it. The switches are all motion activated which meant that the lights would come on in the bathroom at night - ouch to night time eyes. And you might end up showering in the dark since they turned off after 10 minutes or so. Opening the shower door would cause them to turn back on. Walls are thin so we heard people walking around upstairs and the tv playing next to us. It is a pet friendly hotel and someone left their upset and whining puppy in the room by itself. Be mindful of other guests please when you stay here. The block out curtain for the window was appreciated and worked well. Breakfast had options for everyone including fresh fruit and hot items such as pancakes and quiche. They also had 24/7 coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate. Staff was friendly and eager to meet guest needs. They also had filled out white boards next to the elevators with good places to eat, drink, or visit.

The bed was terrible and the floor was dirty. Hilton should be better than that ! The help could of been more accommodating.

This is a new hotel. Rooms are clean, small, and adequate. The price is right however as I was gone most of the day. Breakfast area was busy and could use more seating and more help re-supplying buffet stations. The help was somewhat overwhelmed by the volume of guests. We wiped down our table both days. When we were able to get a table, it was sticky with waffle/pancake syrup. These may be growing pains of a new establishment. I would stay there again as it is priced right and has a convenient location.

Tru by Hilton in Holland, Michigan is a great hotel for the price. It is clean and located in an established area with lots of restaurants and amenities. The front desk assistant, Karina, was extremely warm and welcoming when we checked in. We also ran into her at the front desk the following day and again she was very pleasant and professional. Due to this young lady's kindness and professionalism, my family and I have added this hotel to the list of places we would book again in the future. Thank you Karina!

Just went on a 10 day in vacation where we stayed at 5 different Hampton or Tru Hilton hotels throughout the west side of the Michigan. This hotel was brand new (3 months) and very nice for the price. We had a family with 4 adults and 2 small children and enjoyed our time here. Location is convenient, just need to be aware you can cut through the Home 2 Suites by Hilton parking lot from the frontage road so you can save a little hassle of several stoplights. This is not on the map applications yet. The room A/C unit kept the room cool but the hallways were warm, not sure if this was still from working out issues with new equipment or something else. Typical Tru format with pool table in lobby for use and places to play board games. The little cubbie holes in the corner of the lobby were also a convenient and quiet place for my son to check emails and do a little work. Not sure why somebody gave this a 1 rating our experience was very nice. It is better if you are a Hilton Honors member as you check in remotely on your phone and get a digital key on your phone so missing somebody at the desk was not an issue. We did wait to get one of our two rooms as one was not ready at our check in time but that was just a minor inconvenience.
