開朗的會安民宿(Cheerful Hoi An Hostel)

This is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Hien is an amazing hostess, really caring and attentive. She made us feel right at home. The room was big and comfortable, we were welcomed every morning with a friendly smile and “What would you like for breakfast?” which was included in the room rate and was super yummy. I had the pancakes and they were delicious. All in all I can’t recommend Cheerful enough! Great value for money and the perfect place for travelers.

The hostel is super clean and totally nicely designed. The owner is like your mom and your best friend. Such a great woman. ❤️❤️💯 She is super sweet and caring. There is a delicious breakfast, tea and snacks when you arrive. She also did a food tour with us with typical Vietnamese food!!! The old town is 10-15 minutes away on foot and you can rent a bike at the hostel. The beach is not far away either! I can only recommend the Hostel!! ❤️❤️❤️

Best Hostel I’ve ever stayed at omg! Hien is the best, you have to stay here if you get the chance!!! She is so friendly and makes you feel at home. She is so thoughtful and takes care of you in many ways. For example, she helped us book a snorkelling and scuba diving day, she took us on a street food tour (for FREE I must add, we just had to pay for the food at each place… but it was all local prices so it was very cheap! Less than 100.000vnd for 6 dishes, wow). She also gave us recommendations on places to eat and cool places to check out/explore. She made us coffee and breakfast every morning when we woke up. We were always greeted with a Hello and a smile when we walked into the hostel. She let us borrow her bikes each day to travel around Hoi An or to go out for dinner for a small fee. I could go on and on and on about the amazing service and friendliness at this hostel. The name of the hostel is a perfect description of my stay. On top of this all, she doesn’t up-charge anything. If you want to buy a big water bottle, it’s 15.000vnd which is the same price at the convenience store! Hien is literally the best AND her prices are more than fair! It would be silly not to stay here if you get the chance I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone staying in Hoi An, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the most amazing experience at the Cheerful Hoi An Hostel. I stayed here back in 2019 and has the fondest memories of it, I had to go back in 2023. Hien is the kindest host. She is extremely helpful with helping you plan what to do while in Hoi An. She also took us all out for a delicious, authentic food tour of Hoi An! She makes everyone feel like family and creates the most comfortable environment for all her guests. She cooks a delicious daily breakfast with fresh fruit and coffee. She was also extremely thoughtful to pack us Banh Mi’s for a to-go breakfast for two mornings that we had to leave early. I would highly suggest you stay here if you are ever in Hou An, you won’t regret it!

We had such a wonderful time in Hoi An and Cheerful Hoi An Hostel played a huge role in that. Hien, the owner, is undoubtedly the nicest and most helpful person we met on a trip filled with amazing people. The bicycle street food tour she personally led had incredible dishes we never would have tried otherwise, and her food recommendations were all amazing. The included breakfasts were the best ones we've had all trip, the passionfruit pancakes were delicious. The private room was the largest and nicest we stayed in. Truly perfect, we'll miss Hien dearly and hope we can come back in the future.

This was by far the best place we’ve stayed during our entire three-month trip, and it’s all thanks to Hien. She is a truly WONDERFUL host. Listen to her!!!!! Her recommendations and tips for Hoi An are invaluable. She was generous and kind, friendly and funny, and made the place feel like a home away from home. We felt like we had a new friend, or a mama watching over us. Her breakfasts were DELICIOUS, and she personally took us on a street food tour that was a highlight of our trip. The room was spacious and comfortable and the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in. EVER. I wish we could’ve stayed here forever. We hope some day to come back, and we will definitely be sure to stay with Hien again! Thank you!

Hien is the most warm, kind and welcoming host. She greets everyone with a hug and makes sure to catch up with everybody each morning to find out their plans for the day so she can help recommend activities. We initially booked to stay for 5 nights but ended up staying a week and really didn’t want to leave. She goes above and beyond for each guest and makes the hostel feel like a home away from home.

This is without a doubt one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! First thing that made this amazing was our wonderful host Hien emailed us days in advance to help us with airport pick up, greeted us at the door, showed us to a wonderful room and became like a second mum to us. Me and my girlfriend were there 2 1/2 weeks and every day she called us down for breakfast so we wouldn't miss it, organised tours and trips for us, even called places we wanted to go to make sure they were open and just looked after us in the best way! It was always clean and the food we had and were suggested to have were amazing. We really didnt want to say goodbye to her or the hostel, if your looking for a hostel with loads of things to do in a relaxed area look no further cannot recommend Hien and her wonderful hostel more a true treasure in hoi an!

I stayed here back in September and this hostel alone is enough to convince me to revisit Hoi An someday, all thanks to the incredible host/owner, Hien. Hien is amazing and the sweetest person you'll ever meet. She's funny, extremely caring, and treats all of her guests like family. She'll greet you at your arrival and give you tons of useful tips and advice, making sure you feel safe and welcome. She even offers a bicycle food tour (excellent, highly recommend) where she'll show you some of her favorite spots to eat in Hoi An! The people working here were all lovely and kept the place very clean as well. This hostel made my stay in Hoi An very special and I can't wait to visit again someday. I will recommend anyone to stay here!!
