臘腸樹野生動物園露營地旅館

Our second fabulous visit to Sausage Tree Camp.. and it was as wonderful as our first. All of the staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the camp is so beautiful. We had rain during our stay, but this did not stop us having some incredible wildlife sightings.. including multiple lion sightings, leopard, elephant, hippo, buffalo and the most fantastic birds. Themba and Life were brilliant guides and brought the bush to life for us (we missed having Polite with us as he was on leave).. and Thandi and Karinne (and all the team) took great care of us at the lodge.. It's a truly special place, we do hope to return

We loved everything about Sausage Tree. It's a smaller camp with only five tents. Not only did we quickly bond with the amazing staff, but we were included in Christmas Eve dinner with the owners' family. It was a Christmas my family will never forget. Our guide, Themba was fun, knowledgeable and adventurous. We went off road many times to turn off the engine and leisurely watch the animals. Sundowners by the Oliphant River, dinners in the fire-lit Boma and coming home to our comfortable tent and bed; we all kept commenting how lucky we were to stay in such a special place. We had tears in our eyes as we said our farewells to James, Sonja and the wonderful staff.

Tout était au top, les propriétaires comme le personnel. Accueil, gentillesse et attention. Merci pour ce séjour magnifique. Sans oublier la cuisine fabuleuse et gourmande. Le + toute " la famille Saussage" se mélange avec nous, mange avec nous et discute. On se sent bien au milieu de cette belle entente. Merci à tous. Et bonne continuation.

Wat een warm onthaal bij aankomst. De bagage werd al naar de kamer gebracht. Een kamer met een geweldig uitzicht op het park. Een buitendouche waarbij alleen de wilde dieren je kunnen zien. Game drives met Polite en tracker Life die de liefde voor de natuur en het respect helemaal overbrengen. Bij terugkomst staan Neli en Karien klaar met warme natte handdoekjes. Wat een comfort. Door de kleinschaligheid voelt het met de andere gasten meteen als familie. Heerlijk eten. James de eigenaar is zeee vriendelijk en belangstellend. Het was meer dan een top ervaring!

I absolutely loved this place. I stayed here two nights and saw the big 5. The lodge was relaxing and peaceful. I really appreciate doing Greater Kruger as it cuts down on the amount of human traffic in the park. The location was amazing, the staff were on point, the game drives were exceptional. I would 100% recommend this lodge.
