highly highly highly reccomed this lodge. not only us, our safari guide told us "this is one of best lodge in this area" and we are sure so. The owner Ruan and his wife are very good person,friendly and kind, they cared us all the time. They arranged from various activity like game drive to transportation. The room and restaurant are very sophisticated,cozy we had a relaxing time there whole day. What I must say is meals. I loved oxtail stew and traditional lamb steak they served us. we definitely reccomened this lodge if my friends visit Kuruger, and come again

We absolutely loved our stay at Munga! Unfortunately, we were only there for two nights — but we definitely could have stayed much longer. The warm welcome from the lovely couple who owns the place was truly exceptional. They gave us fantastic tips for our trip, including a great restaurant recommendation for when we arrived in Cape Town. We were greeted with a delicious homemade dinner that really felt like a comforting meal at home — just what we needed after a long journey. Breakfast was also wonderful, fresh and full of flavor. The location is excellent, and the room's infrastructure was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the showers were amazing, and everything was thoughtfully designed. We would recommend Munga to anyone looking for a special, warm, and well-located place to stay. It was truly memorable, and we hope to return someday!

A fantastic experience. Ruan is the perfect host. This is a beautifully furnished, intimate lodge. The food is fantastic and we enjoyed the spa, cycling around the nearby trail and Ruan arranged an excellent game drive. I’d highly recommend Muunga Lodge and hope to return soon.

The perfect stay. We stayed for one night in this wonderful lodge with more wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts. What a great experience. Beautiful rooms and house. Very nice breakfast and do not forget they can provide dinner. A must stay when in Hoedspruit

This was our favourite from all our accomodations we've stayed in South Africa and here's why: - Jenny & Ruan are amazing hosts that go above & beyond to make your stay memorable - Beautiful interior design of the lodge with a unique touch. They've done everything by themselves and I would immediately hire them as my interior architects :-) - Wonderful garden with great views of the Drakensberg mountains. Bushbabies might even stop by for a visit in the evening! - Possibility to do Safaris right around the corner (Ruan is also a trained guide) - Place to go for wine lovers, Ruan is also a professional in the wine field! - Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious! We loved the fresh fruits and Musli as well as the delicious Omelettes. Also they prepared dinner just for the two of us and it was a very nice and romantic dinner! I can honestly not think of anything negative. They are really just amazing in what they do :-) And yes, they don't have that many reviews yet. They've only started the lodge 2 years ago but that should not stop you from expierence great hospitality first hand!

Beautiful place and peaceful.. Tranquility at its best, just what we needed, I enjoyed my morning coffees outside my room, listening to birds🥰.. The hosts were great and so attentive..Game drive was great100%.. Definitely going back😊
