Es war alles perfekt. Nur schade, daß es keinen kleinen Fitnessraum gab. Ein Fahrrad oder ein Laufband würde schon reichen.

Die Villa Rothschild besticht durch ihr wunderschönes historisches Gebäude und die idyllische Lage im Taunus. Der Check-in war jedoch etwas enttäuschend – die Rezeption wirkte leer, und der einzige Mitarbeiter vor Ort schien noch unerfahren. Trotz Marriott Gold Status wurde kein Upgrade gewährt, angeblich wegen Ausbuchung, obwohl die höhere Kategorie online noch verfügbar war. Das hinterließ leider keinen wertschätzenden Eindruck. Die Tizian Bar ist stilvoll eingerichtet und bot einen guten Mittagssnack, auch wenn der Service noch etwas unerfahren, aber sehr bemüht war. Ein Highlight war der wunderschöne Park, der zu einem Spaziergang mit herrlichem Blick auf Frankfurt einlädt. Das Zimmer war ansprechend, allerdings war das Badezimmer sehr klein. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Shuttle-Service ins Schwesternhotel, dessen Spa-Bereich wirklich schön ist und die Organisation reibungslos funktionierte. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Restaurant, wo wir einen fantastischen Abend verbracht haben. Besonders der Service von Niki war hervorragend. Die Preise sind zwar hoch, aber das Erlebnis war es wert. Abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt von einem sehr guten Frühstück, das jedoch mit 84 € für zwei Personen zu teuer angesetzt ist. Fazit: Ein wunderschönes Weekend-Getaway im Taunus mit exzellenter Gastronomie, aber noch Optimierungspotenzial beim Service und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

We spent here 5 nights and had an amazing stay! This used to be the Rotchilds family summer villa and was turned into aromantic boutique hotel with 22 rooms. As Titanium Marriott members we were upgraded to a large , simply fabulous room, spacious and with a fire place! Breakfast was delicious with an amazingly pleasant and attentive service. There is a great spa ( offering sauna, heated spring water pool and treatments) at their sister property located within 5 minutes drive ( they offer free shuttle service). The hotel is located less than 25 minutes drive from the airport and in the very nice Königstein town that offers numerous restaurants within walking distance. All in all an amazing hotel that is highly recommended!

We enjoyed the best suite in this villa for us (as the only larger suite had 2 bedrooms was not necessary). Large, windows opened fully allowing in the fresh air, and the fireplace was used daily given the rainy October weather experienced here. Great little park on site with a private path around the immediate grounds. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory. We used the record player, which was a neat touch and a first for us at any hotel we've stayed at. Thanks to the two Daniel's, Sarah, Leah, and Alexandra

n Google Luxury and History perfectly melded into one truly unique experience! We had the pleasure of staying overnight on a beautiful summer day and evening. From the time you step out of your car at the impressive entry and are greeted with a cold glass of champagne (or freshly squeezed juice) you feel like you have stepped back into time and are on a visit to your friends stately Villa and that feeling persists throughout your stay. The Daniel’s as I called them (Daniel 1 is the afternoon Butler/Estate Manager in charge of every detail of your stay and Daniel 2 was the morning one) were both fantastic in their customer centric skills. We enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon early evening laying on lounge chairs and sipping a cocktail prepared by Daniel in the quiet private park that is out back for guests to enjoy. The pictures I included almost don’t do it justice as you have an incredible view over Frankfurt from there. Our spacious and historic room was the music room complete with phonograph and a curated album collection that we thoroughly enjoyed listening to during our stay. The bathroom was beautiful and included dual vanities walk in shower and a deep bathtub along with robes and slippers. The breakfast they offered on the beautiful summer morning was served on the terrace out back overlooking the beautiful park setting again with the view down into Frankfurt and Beata our server was gracious and makes a perfect cappuccino and latte that we enjoyed along with a made to order egg item breakfast and amazing fresh baked goods including homemade marmalades and local honey. A must see and live part of your next trip to Frankfurt area.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary at the Villa Rothschild! All I can say is WOW! Beautiful room! Wonderful Staff! Kudos to the hospitality team! Our room was amazing and breakfast was delightful. We spent several weeks travelling throughout Germany and Austria and we wished we could have spent a week at the Villa Rothschild. Location was a mere 5 mins from town, the grounds were beautiful.
