駅から非常に近い、松山空港まで一本、めちゃくちゃ近い。部屋が綺麗、ウォッシュレットあり、コンビニもすぐそばにある。

Newly remodeled rooms are excellent. However location is not ideal for the casual shopping and dining options around the hotel is limited. Buffet breakfast included is generous with many dishes offered. From salad to hot items to bread and even a made-to-order egg dishes.

1. Delightful and varied breakfast spread. This was probably the number one thing I liked about the hotel 2. Super convenient location. Hotel side entrance (bakeshop) is literally in front of the train station exit. 3. Service was not too hospitable compared to that of hotels from neighboring countries. I think the service was a bit cold for Asian service standards. But it seems to be a business hotel so I think it is ok. It is not really catered for families. They prioritize efficiency, no issues with that. 4. Room was clean and spacious. 5. Will come back again :)

Stayed at the Brother Hotel for a few days as part of a business visit. Overall room was very good for price, clean and in a very good location. Breakfast was acceptable overall. I have dinner once there in one of the restaurants but the food was rather bland and the setting is like a cantina; there are much nicer and cheaper places to have dinner close by. If the food was better I would give it 5 stars

Returning to the Brother Hotel is a pleasure, not because of the friendly staff or the building itself, but because it is a reminder of a former era before Taipei housed multiple chain hotels. The building is old - difficult to escape the fact - and could do with a renovation, but the Brother is in a terrific location and my room was comfortable and well appointed. Almost as importantly, the room price includes breakfast. There are 2 choices: the busy buffet upstairs or a la carte set breakfast in the Italian restaurant on the ground floor. I opted for the latter and was not disappointed. An excellent breakfast indeed! There are several other restaurants in the hotel and I would also recommend the Sichuan restaurant. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and I would wholeheartedly recommend the Brother Hotel for a truly local Taipei experience.

The Brother Hotel has been a magnet every time my mom travels to Taiwan. We also remember really enjoying our stay here back when I first traveled to Taiwan in Christmas 2017, especially the breakfast at the time, so we stayed here again during our trip in New Year's 2023-2024, booking 2 rooms for 6 nights with breakfast included, for around like $150 USD/night per room with my mom's proof of ********* citizenship. Out of a scale of 1-5 stars, I feel the Brother Hotel deserves 3 out of 5 stars. Why does the Brother Hotel deserve 3 stars and not 5 stars? Like always, I'll start with the list of pros and cons. I'll begin with the pros: 1. The Brother Hotel is also right next to the Nanjing-Fuxing MRT station, making it very convenient for those taking the train from either Taoyuan International Airport or Songshan Airport. It wasn't too difficult to drag our heavy luggages into the hotel. 2. With that being said, the hotel is very conveniently located from many of Taipei's popular attractions. It's a 15 minute ride to Taipei 101, 15 minutes to Taipei Main Station, 15 minutes to Ximending, a short 5-minute train ride to Raohe Night Market in Songshan, and just a stop away from the SOGO Department Stores at Zhongxiao-Fuxing MRT Station. 3. Adding on to #2, the hotel is very close to a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Like on #2, the Brother Hotel is just one MRT stop away from the SOGO department stores at Zhongxiao-Fuxing Station. There are also a wide variety of different restaurants inside the Brother Hotel itself, from a nice ********* bakery on the first floor, to a Japanese restaurant in the basement, to a Dim Sum restaurant and a ********* restaurant both on the 2nd floor. 4. The hotel hallway and room were both very modernized, making me feel welcome. I liked the new carpets and the modern design inside our rooms. The rooms also have outlets that accomodate most, if not every single type of plug used worldwide. They even gave us free soda cans inside the room fridge. 5. The staff were very friendly and courteous. On our day of check-out, as our flights did not leave TPE until 7:20pm and 7:50pm respectively, the staff were very kind to let us keep 1 of the 2 rooms until 3:00pm on day of checkout. It was very helpful as we were able to keep our luggage stored while we went for our last lunch in Taipei. Now on to the cons: 1. Rules and rates are not clear. As my mom is a ********* citizen, she qualifies for a discount in the room rate. However, the front desk tried to deny her the discount, stating that a ********* citizen must be present in every room, without informing her or displaying it clearly beforehand. Other hotels are almost always very clear about their room rates and will usually tell you if something changes. 2. Unlike last time, I felt the quality of the morning breakfast went down. The juice choices were more limited to where only Apple Cider Vinegar and Orange Juice are offered. The Kim Chi Rice Cakes were too gooey. I al

The location is absolutely fantastic. Situated right next to a metro station, it provides easy access to the city's major attractions and business districts. Although the property is a bit old, The room is well renovated. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast is definitely catered to local taste, international visitors might find it a bit lacking. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the attention to detail. The hotel's management has clearly invested time and effort in maintaining the property's cleanliness and overall upkeep. The public areas were immaculate, and the attention to detail extended to every corner of the hotel.
