Marriott希爾頓海頭島SpringHill套房(SpringHill Suites Hilton Head Island)

The staff was very helpful. The very structural design of the room created problems. The bath room door was a plastic type glass directly in front of the beds and any light in the bath room became a "lighthouse beacon" at night easily disrupting my sleep. My wife and I used our phone lights when using the bathroom to avoid waking each other. The bed that I slept on was too close to the window air conditioner and the super cool air gave me a sore throat as it blasted at my face all night long. The office desk was located so a person could not view through the outside window and refresh their mind and eyes while working at the desk. I have stayed in many Country Inn and Suites in several states. I strongly urge Marriott not to use the layout design at this Hilton Head location in any buildings or renovations elsewhere. Also I stayed on the 4th floor which was quiet, but the hot water was weak and slow to arrive.

When we pulled up there were no lights on the walkways or parking around the building. The front desk staff was not present at time of arrival and there was no way to call. I had to yell hello to get someones attention who walked out annoyed that they had to check me in. When that was over we went to go up to the room to find that it was 2 queens versus the king we booked. I booked through the third party, but front desk said the reservation was queens not king. I called ******* who said they have everything as king. They tried calling the desk but they didn't answer. I ended up keeping what they gave me since it was a 1 night stay and had my husband park our car near the other hotel on the other end of the lot since it had light and seemed safer. He also confirmed thos was ok with the front desk staff who again was annoyed she had to get off her cell phone to assist.

Pros: Excellent breakfast Very clean hotel Very nice location Mini golf in walking distance New rooms Wonderful environment Con: We stayed on 4th floor, getting hot water in the shower in the afternoon took like 5 min. I would come back again, not a deal breaker, but maybe the hotel can do something about it. Again, 10/10

Beautiful quiet and comfortable. Staff pretty good, but felt a bit standoffish and somewhat vague help.

Beautiful large room with work desk and huge n bathroom. Modern decor and a pleasure to stay in.
