When we arrived we were a little nervous as the the hotel is a little run down and is being used to house the council's homeless but dont let that put you off as the rooms are very clean amd secure and the staff very polite and helpful. Food was very nice , we had a very nice stay. We met some of the residents they were lovely. So yeah we highly recommend this hotel. Very fair priced we would stay again.

This is too the residents of the wattling (not the B&b guest) of you're homeless and have to go to this hell on earth of a "hotel" some things you need to know: You're paying for a B&b but you don't get breakfast There is NUN washing machines so make sure you make plans and arrangements There's a curfew have to be in bed by 10pm You are NOT allowed to talk to the B&b guest and they are NOT allowed to talk to us (not sure why) The manger has a fragile ego DO NOT go to the manger pay for ANYTHING There's random room checks and pav the manger will walk in to your room without notice Pav will talk down to you and think he's above the homeless tenants He prioritise the B&b guest over the homeless tenants Don’t lose your card he will charge you £25 for a new one. He gives everyone post to someone to give out He will lie though his teeth to you and tell the rest of the staff and residents something different. He DOES NOT keep secrets he will tell everyone and the staff Good luck you’re going to need it!!!! He will threaten you with the police if you disagree with him. 🫡🫡

We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The room was comfortable and practical and they couldn't do enough for us. We loved that the TV had all things we needed and was able to watch programmes we wanted to. Breakfast there was a choice of hot food and was very plentiful - portion size was big. It was lovely presented and hot. We enjoyed the experience - thank you.

Had a brilliant stay at the Watling Inn. From the time we walked through the front door everything was spot on. Pavan was very helpful, the room was bright, very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. We had a meal the night before we left, again delicious. We would highly recommend a stay here, we will be back.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel so you get what you pay for. It’s cheap and cheerful, friendly staff, comfy bed, good shower, cafe style food/brekkie. Is it perfect - no, is it great value - yes. If you want luxury you need to pay a luxury price if you want a clean room (if a little run down) and comfy bed for a very low price this works.

Firstly, the accommodation looks scruffy from the main rd, with pallets, building materials to the side and a shabby front door. The building appears to be some sort of converted care home, with poor signage to and from the first floor. Decor is shabby and very random. Bedroom was basic but comfortable, despite really noise floorboards inside and in the hallway. Breakfast was terrible. I believe I was served powdered scrambled eggs which were inedible, plus had to wait 30 minutes for the privilege.

Almost stayed here but didn’t - after waiting 15 mins at Reception with another traveller we were eventually seen after telephoning the hotel! Taken to rooms only to find when the room unlocked that someone was in it! I left at this point as did not feel safe as a lone female traveller. Shrug of the shoulders from the staff member as I left!
