Visited for the first time for a birthday celebration. The food was amazing and the atmosphere lovely. James and all the staff were fantastic.

Booked this hotel for a meal for my son’s birthday. From the initial email to arriving the staff were wonderful. Especially the bar manager- he had a fun character. The food was excellent and they even decorated the table and organised the best cake for me. The only downside was one of the waitresses was rude and miserable. Appalling service and couldn’t clear the table without dropping the cutlery (twice in fact) training required. She was telling everyone that it was the young girls first night, but she was far better than her! She was rude about the bar manager and pulled faces when he was talking- she just lets the place down unfortunately. We laughed it off but on reflection it was sad as everyone else gave 110%

Our second visit to this lovely hotel in a great location. The wonderful friendly staff and great food ensure a 5 star stay

If cosy countryside accommodation is your thing, then you are bound to fall in love with the unique Stonehouse Hotel. The location is ultra peaceful, surrounded by hills, trees, fields & probably sheep. It’s well equipped with all mod cons but has a very traditional feel. The employees are warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. I can’t wait to return!

Stone House is a beautiful comfortable hotel in a great location near Hawes. Staff is warm and welcoming, and the meals are very good., You can cozy up to the fireplace with a book or take a long walk on the nearby footpaths. A great relaxing experience!

Booked the entire hotel for a car club meet. Staff were wonderful and very engaging. Hotel in an excellent location with a lovely scenic walk to Hawes, rooms were large and food great. Perfect for touring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
