酷登海灘飯店(CBH The Relais Cooden Beach)

nice location, excellent service, comfortable rooms and great bathroom

We were booked in for 3 nights and given a SeaView room. which was very spacious.Unfortunately it was very warm so we needed to keep the windows open.The first night the sound of reving engines kept us awake. The second night a group of youngsters were talking until the early hours. We had a 5 hour drive home and after 2 nights without sleep decided to check out, I showed the receptionist a video I had made of the noise the youngsters were making but she said the police had picked them up as they were behaving badly and it was hotel policy not to refund any money but she could only take off the price of our meal the night before which was not even a fraction of the cost we had paid for the room. Such a shame..

A very disappointing stay. The hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovation. We were aware of this prior to booking but we were not prepared for the noise of building work. We requested a room change as the noise level was intrusive in the first room. This was grudgingly done and we were told the second room would probably not be much better. However it was much quieter. There was a wedding taking place in the hotel and as a result parts of the hotel were closed off to non wedding guests. There was a reduced menu and drinks choice because of the wedding. Staff did not think that was an issue. We paid a considerable amount of money for our stay which was not the restful and relaxing stay we hoped for.

Very expensive, very small room. Toilet dirty, hairs on pillow case, shower terrible, no water in room except tap water. Breakfast and staff very nice. Gillian Sedgley

I enjoyed my stay at the Relais. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the large shower room was nicely presented. We had a small balcony and a seaview

Had a lovely stay and got upgraded for partners birthday to a suite was amazing time and staff was very polite and helpful with everything. Definitely staying again

Enjoyed a nice weekend away, Lovely Hotel with nice welcoming staff. Comfortable bed and excellent washroom. However my seaview room as advertised was only 20% of my view, we had the road that was loud at times and a block of flats to look at. The decor was abit confusing and played with my tism. The draught beer was flat and not nice and cold as a pint should be. These are all little things that didnt make my good weekend perfect 👌

Very good customer service from all the staff that were encountered duting our stay. The room was very nice, but a little on small size ok for 1 night.

A fantastically located premium hotel qith great staff. Right on the beach with a great terrace and large dining area/bar. Room was very clean and check in was faultless
