Play arcade games in our downstairs game room or challenge your family to a friendly game of cornhole, darts, pool or ladder ball. Nature lover? You've come to the right place! It's very common to see manatee, dolphin & a variety of seabirds while you're enjoying yourself on our backyard beach or toasting marshmallows in our fire pit. Or maybe you're just chilling on one of our two balconies having coffee in the morning or playing a board game in the evening. Use our kayaks and pedal boat to explore the local waterways. Or get picked up at our dock for an airboat tour (additional fees apply). Close to shopping & dining, while perfectly hidden! We're pet friendly too! So, bring your well-behaved fur-babies and come stay for a couple days, or a week, or even a month! We know you're gonna LOVE IT here!! The elevator is currently non-operational. For those moments when you simply want someone else to do the work, visit any of the nearby restaurants (many which are waterfront) to enjoy some area favorites! Bordering Pine Island State Park in Weeki Wachee you'll find a family friendly beach for sunbathing, swimming, bird-watching, looking for sea turtles or dolphins or just relaxing with a good book. With clean, white sand and shallow waters, it's the perfect place for kids to work off some energy in the water or at the playground. There are cold beverages and light fare available at Willy's Tropical Breeze Cafe. Of course, you can always opt to make use of the 4 kayaks with life jackets provided as part of your rental. Trust me, you want to be on the main river with direct access to the crystal clear waters of the Weeki Wachee River. There's a preserve across the river providing added privacy, and just around the corner from Hospital Hole where manatees love to congregate. There's also a beautiful little beach directly along the property's seawall, where you can swim or sit and relax. Our home has been COMPLETELY updated and can accommodate your large group with 4 large bedrooms! Bring your boat to tie up or use the six single kayaks and a three person canoe provided for you to enjoy the river... no rental costs.The spaceWe may be biased, but we think this is the best place on the river ;)#1 Feature: We are directly on the crystal clear waters of the Weeki Wachee River! And we're located just around the corner from the famous "Hospital Hole" where the manatees congregate in droves. We are far enough up river that the water is almost always crystal clear. There's even a nice beach area to sit in the water as manatees swim by and a preserve across the river giving you extra privacy and more connection with the wildlife and a more natural feel for the wild river.This house has been fully renovated inside and out. The whole interior has be remodeled with quality flooring, furniture and a great neutral color scheme. The outside has beautiful concrete interlocking pavers surrounding the property, including the driveway, wrap around walkways and full river patio space for all of your guests to enjoy the open feel on the water.Enjoy the shallow shores and soak up the sun while the natural spring fed waters keeps you cool... or warm in the winter months. The water temperature is 74 degrees all year round.Weeki Wachee Springs State Park is a five mile drive away (take in the world famous mermaid show and the river boat tour).We are located 5.5 miles from the head of the river, so you have plenty of river to enjoy going against the flow. Roger's Park is a half mile down river from us and the Gulf of America is another 2 miles down river from there.Weeki Wachee River produces 120 to 170 million gallons of clear fresh 74 degree water per day and is home to a very diverse wildlife population. We've actually seen a family of deer cross the river in front of us while we were canoeing - what a treat that was!
