This was our second stay at L&N and certainly not our last. This feel less like a typical B&B and more like a comfortable, make-yourself-at-home visit with old friends. The unique southerm charm of house, the warm hospitality of the hosts and the incredible breakfast (not to mention soft drinks in fridge and snacks a-plenty) make L&N a must when staying overnight in Henderson. The location is also perfect as you are only a block away from the majestic Ohio River and views of its old steel train bridge that still thrill me even though I have seen it thousands of times (I am native of the town but now live elsewhere). You are also only a few mins walk away from exceptional restaurants and a downtown area with incredible charm and perfect for morning walks. I wish we could have stayed an additional week. We absolutely love this place.

Most beautiful and comfortable Bed and Breakfast that I’ve ever reserved. Walkable to restaurants and the river walk. Beautiful homes in the neighborhood. Safe. Parking behind the home. Well maintained throughout the home. Yard was beautiful. Exceptionally clean. Bathtub in the twin bedroom is big and luxurious. Reading lights by both beds. Delicious breakfast. Greg was attentive and if we would have had time, we would have visited with him all day. There could not be a better place to stay while visiting Henderson.

Extremely nice host, Greg made my wife and I feel right at home. Such a comfy place in a marvelous town. And to top it all off, we were served a delicious breakfast every morning when we were around. He always made sure our cups were full. Right on the river, but never in it!

My husband and I travel all around to visit each other (dual military couple). Henderson has been the best spot by far, all because L&N made us feel right at home. Clean, comfy, historic, unique, and the most friendly innkeeper & owners. We’ll certainly be coming back as often as we can. Thank you for everything!

One of the best places I've ever stayed. While the L&N is next door to a working train track (as said many times in the website, etc), it's one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed. Greg, the Innkeeper, good above and beyond to make his guests feel at home. I have serious food allergies and he always makes sure I am not affected. The place is within walking distance of many fine restaurants and shops. Personally if I'm staying in Henderson, I won't stay anywhere else. Give it a shot...it's well worth.

I had to wait 15 minutes for the innkeeper to check me in. I needed my business information added to my invoice, this was not possible for the innkeeper to do. I was only offer breakfast at 7:00 and 9:00 because the innkeeper had a personal appointment at 8:00. This did not work with my schedule. The AC was not able to cool the room to a comfortable level. It was very hot outside during my stay. I had to go through another bedroom to get to the bathroom that was assigned to me. Now for train. I am a light sleeper. I took a series of (14) 25 minute naps. Train runs 50 times per day. And yes, you feel it. Overall, nice old house, but overpriced for the level of hospitality, comfort and noise. I wanted to add pictures but network would not allow.
