布法羅飯店(Buffalo Hotel)

Not sure where to begin with this shambles of a place, but we were desperate as travel plans took an unexpected twist. Rooms: awful musty smell with literally swarms of mosquitoes. Mouldy bathroom and mouldy buildings (you can see the black mould on the walls outside). The mould in itself is a health hazard. Loud music from a pub or whatever close by; frogs croaking from the swimming pool all night. In an industrial area next to a cellphone mast... The biggest joke was the price: horrifically expensive for this dive.

Mouldy buildings; musty smelling rooms; mouldy showers; loud music and frogs kept us awake. My son was covered in mosquito bites. Overpriced in every sense. I only stayed there due to an emergency and was horrified at what I received for the price.

We came to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday weekend all 8 of us. The staff was friendly and the accomodation was great. They can only improve on their breakfast. A buffet set up would so wonders!!!

Festival arranged and attended. Great artists exceptional atmosphere All spoiled by local uneccesary fight again. Sorry won't be back again every. We left directly after the boxing match not even listening to the artist we came to hear. Very poor local VIP guest attitude and thanks. Really piss poor from you all.

Great service at a great price. Nothing is too much effort for the staff. They were always friendly and willing to help. Aircon was not working when we arrived and it was sorted out immediately. Food is good and reasonably priced.

Had a meeting for 50 plus people at the Buffel Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were great and nothing was too much when asking staff to assist. Dorette and her team assisted me and their service was excellent.

Amazing and fun environment for drinks! Kiss the buffalo to really prove yourself. The staff were very friendly and kind. Food was great, pizza and wings were fantastic. Would definitely come back anytime when visiting the lodges in Mejajane!

Buffalo Hotel Hectospruit...Best service u can ever get, from the lady at the reception to each staff member that we dealt with, we had such a great time staying there, clean neat rooms, the food is great and very organized lodge

These are my complaints: We arrived fairly late and were desperate for accommodation. The receptionist offered us the "pensioner rate", i.e. R900 instead of R999 for the night. She entered tje R999 sum into the card machine which we did not notice and then when we got the slip and discovered the actual amount charged, she said "Oh, sorry I cannot reverse it". The bathroom had no light, there was no plug in the handwash basin. We were woken up at 05:00 on the nxt mornig with a loud commotion outside and then loud knocking on the door. It was a taxi driver who entered the parking area to pick up passengers and all he said was "Sorry, wrong room". This is a stay we would rather forget.
