諾福克住宿 - 我的小休息

Possibly the worst place we have ever stayed in. On arriving we drove past twice thinking we had the wrong place but no this was it...... not a welcoming entrance. Building works in progress??? Our room (The Woodshed) looked nice on entrance although cold and dusty. No where to hang clothes, but hey ho. We changed and went to find the beach which is only a couple of minutes walk. On the way looking at the building next to ours .... a derelict building, not a good look, building materials everywhere and not another person around. During the night... around 2.30 I could hear a noise and thought someone was trying to get in so was wide awake holding my breath and listening (as you do) it stopped for a while and then started again.... Rats in the ceiling and cavity walls, so loud it woke my husband so we spend the rest of the night listening to the rats running around the cottage. Shocked and a little scared we brushed it out of our mind the next morning and went to find breakfast..... so .... breakfast is in a cold soulless wooden room... do it yourself, tea coffee toast and cereal, although no milk for the cereal, none in the fridge and no one around to ask. The bin was overflowing with rubbish too. So just toast then. . So... bedtime arrived and so did the rats..... another sleepless night. So up early , packed and left. We were booked to stay 3 nights but no way was I staying another night

We went on a night away with our young bulldog for her first ever holiday. It was very quiet (understandable in January!) but it was absolutely lovely. Our room was the Hayloft, it was so warm and cosy with everything you would need. The television in the room was a lovely extra and the little downstairs area was wonderful to sit and eat in whilst chatting. The breakfast was delicious, including freshly laid eggs from the resident chickens. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and really understanding when Daisy was very excited and acted up a little. We will definitely be re booking in the summer months. Highly recommend!
