- Philip on reception didn’t look up from his phone when I walked in after a 10 hour journey, no warm welcome just a cold unsmiling instruction where to sign. When I discovered my bathroom had not been cleaned he told me that the couple who were in that room before me asked to move rooms and all the cleaners have gone home. Offered to move me to a much much smaller room. No eye contact, no apology or offer to get to sorted. He is rude, unfriendly and unpleasant. + In contrast the duty manager Kieran is friendly and helpful and sorted my room himself; the bar staff and housekeeping were all great as expected. Other suggestions - only 2 teabags and 1 biscuit for 2 people for 2 nights! Room otherwise nice.
