We had a two-bedroom unit. Main with a queen, second had two single beds for the children. There was a new flat screen TV with all channels, Utube, Netflix, etc. The unit had a kitchenette. Fridge, micro-wave, toaster, jug, etc. and utensils for meals. Some of the rooms have views of the ocean which is only 70 meters from the motel. There is also a swimming pool and BBQ facilities. The motel has a restaurant/hotel style attached to the motel. Great food and serves a hugh variety of beers. The food was great some foods are prepared in a special smoker. It also serves the most delicious pizzas. Highly recommended.

The photos on Tripadvisor are old. The motel has undergone a huge. makeover. Rooms have been decorated and painted. New bedding has been installed. Air conditioners have been updated. Flat-screen TVs have been installed in all rooms.

My 14 yo son and I stayed for 7 nights over the New Year period. It is nice and close to Bennett's Beach and Benchmark (a licenced restautant not connected to the Motel) is directly underneath. The pool is good. We had a two bedroom apartment with a separate lounge room and kitchen. This isn't pretending to be 5 star accomodation, but you have everything that you need. My double bed was comfortable. my 14yo was very happy to have his own room. Good fridge and enough cooking utensils. We'll definitely rebook.

Great location only a block away from Bennetts Beach. The staff are friendly and courteous but the whole complex is in need of a makeover and just some general maintenance work all the doors in the unit we stayed in needed painting the bathroom door wouldn’t close

Restaurant is not open for dinner Sundays, Monday all day close, if you have a room with a balcony apart from the furniture that is broken and all the noise from the air-conditioning from the Restaurant is 24 hours, feel very sorry but the motel is going down the hill,carpet in the room dirty, definite I'm not going back again

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful mid-week break at Oceanside Hawks Nest. We upgraded to a two bedroomed apartment and couldn’t have been happier. The apartment was clean with a well-equipped kitchen, laundry and a superb shower. I have trouble sleeping but the bed had a new mattress and the sheets were deliciously soft! Kylie at front desk made everything very easy for us and we’ve always found the staff warm and friendly. I wish we had known about this place when our children were younger - with the pool and spa, they’d have had a ball! Couldn’t recommend Oceanside Hawks Nest more likely!
