VIP Morro

Me encantó el servicio, el ambiente, la habitación, todo en general. Le daría un 10/10. Sin duda lo recomiendo, pasarán una Magnífica experiencia. Volveré pronto junto a mi familia y amigos a disfrutar de sus espectaculares servicios. Gracias a todo el equipo!

Nos alojamos mi mujer y yo para pasar unos días en la habana y no podemos estar más contentos de haber elegido este lugar. La habitación impresionante, el servicio siempre atento y la ubicación excepcional. El wifi funciona de maravilla. Nos ayudaron a organizar excursiones y las recomendaciones que nos hicieron de restaurantes y visitas fueron todo un acierto! Tienen un rooftop expectacular para tomar algo. Nos queda aún mucho de cuba por descubrir, si tenemos la oportunidad de volver pasaremos por ahí seguro!

Nice small hotel situated close to the Paseo de Prada pedestrian walkway which conveniently leads to the Old Havana area. Good walkable location. Close to the waterfront. Wi-Fi hotspot shared by the receptionist is free but limited, otherwise no Wi-Fi. Transportation from airport at guest expense and arrangement, receptionist will arrange return taxi to airport at guest expense. No coffee/tea maker in room, mini fridge stocked and available for extra $. Breakfast available for extra $. Nice rooftop patio/bar with lackluster view. Very noisy area. Room was comfortable although bedroom/loft upstairs and bathroom downstairs seemed strange. GREAT water pressure and bath amenities. Be sure your taxi driver takes you to the correct airport terminal, if not it will require you finding another taxi ride as terminals are 2-3 kilometers apart, not connected or walkable. I consider this hotel to be adequate and a good but not great value price wise. Front desk receptionist Diana was super friendly, gracious, helpful and informative.

Choosing VIP Morro for the place where I proposed to my girlfriend turned out to be a great decision! My plan was to propose on the rooftop bar at midnight on New Year’s Eve. However, I had no idea what do expect and no contacts to help me as this was my first trip to Cuba. Luckily I found Dionisio at VIP Morro! He and his staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We were truly treated like VIPs- very appropriate for a hotel with “VIP” in the name. Thanks to their help, the proposal went perfectly and the staff even acted as our camera crew and videographers! We are so grateful that we’ll have that perfect memory preserved forever. The room was incredible and lacked no luxury! They even somehow had Bath & Body Works foaming hand soap which I was amazed at since I could hardly find any hand soap in the entire country of Cuba! It was those little details that really stood out and set the VIP Morro apart from the other hotels that we started at. But the customer service really made the biggest impression and the VIP Morro will always be “Our Place” and Dionisio and staff will always be our friends!
