曼佳帕帕飯店(Mangapapa Hotel)

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect, from the food, service, rooms, to the spa room. We were welcomed to enjoy the spa room, up until the last few minutes of our stay. We felt totally relaxed & taken care of. The dinner & breakfast was top quality. The gardens are well maintained & provide a lovely view from the restaurant, or when sitting on the top deck. The location and hotel looks very nice but the service is very bad. We arrived after a long day of driving at 3pm and we wanted to eat something. They charge you high prices to stay but they couldn’t make us any food since the restaurant was “fully booked” for the whole day including dinner. This could be understandable but they couldn’t even offer us a simple sandwich or anything. You can not claim to be a five star hotel if you’re not able to give your hotel guests any food at all. For me service is zero.

Service was excellent, the accommodations were excellent and the dinner in the restaurant was one of the best meals I’ve ever had!!! I had to leave before breakfast the next morning and they prepared me not one, but two incredible sandwiches to go. I only stayed one night, wish I could have stayed longer.

Mangapapa was a beautiful escape for a couple of locals celebrating our anniversary. From our warm greeting on arrival, the stunning decor in the lobby, bar & restaurant and of course the comfort and elegance of our room…just stunning. The team did not miss a thing, right down to freshly baked cookies in our room on arrival and serving the best Hawthorne Coffee. Robes and slippers are also provided which again is a nice extra that is often missed these days. The ‘trust the Chef’ menu at the restaurant was exquisite and breakfast the next morning just as divine. Everyone, local and visitor, should treat themselves to an escape at Mangapapa Hotel.

Rarely ever does a hotel get everything right but Mangapapa Hotel does and I am a very fussy guest! This is a beautiful historic property that offers luxury without a stuffy atmosphere from the moment we arrived we felt super welcome and the insuite check in was a lovely touch. Gorgeous rooms, attentive staff, glorious grounds matched with excellent food offering value for money on top of a spa, sauna and marble bathrooms! I felt like I had been away for ages such was my relaxation by the time we finally left. This is the hotel to book if you want to feel like you've had something really special, I can't wait to go back.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights over King's Birthday weekend. The room was spacious and comfortable and the surrounds were tranquil and restful. Michael, our host, was all that one would wish for in a host: friendly and attentive and always promptly available, whilst continuing to ensure that our privacy and time with one another were never encroached upon. The food was spectacular. The chef is extremely talented and the combinations of flavours in each dish served were imaginative and always left us wanting more despite the portion sizes being perfect. We have added Mangapapa Hotel to our list of preferred getaway destinations and cannot wait to return. Peter and Jayne

Wonderful place to stay with amazing food and very friendly and helpful staff! Wonderful setting in middle of beautiful garden/vineyard. Must try 5-course-dinner and great wine selection. Rooms spacious and perfectly set up to travel with kids.

Belle surprise En famille , Trouvé sur booking par hasard , bien moins cher qu’en appelant la réception Très bon accueil, magnifique chambre et parc Petit déjeuner bon mais service long , servis à table Bonne literie et bon resto ( attention au repas végétarien, ils mettent les légumes en friture , pas très bon ,) le reste impeccable !

Wow, we felt like a King and Queen the whole time we were staying, nothing was too much. Lovely and peaceful, room was stunning, bed was so comfortable slept very well and the meals were incredible. Will definitely be booking again.
