We booked 2 nights at Summerfields House B & B because the Hotels we looked at were far too expensive and were offering very little for the money . Summerfields reviews were excellent and the cost was very reasonable. We arrived just after 3 pm (Check in time) and were greeted by our Hosts Fiona and Ian . Fiona showed us to our room which overlooked the rear garden and the surrounding Woods . The Property is set on a Private Road and has secure gates with Pin Pad access . They have plenty of room for Parking and a Bus stop at the end of the Lane . It is a 7 minute walk to the Sea Front . You would not know you were in the centre of Hastings as it is so quiet . Our Room was perfect , will all amenities one would need . A very comfortable Bed , a good size TV , not that we watched much . The Private Bathroom was just across the Hallway .( Other Rooms are Ensuite ) Very large Bathroom and very well laid out and Beautifully decorated with quality soaps & Shampoos etc . Breakfast was included and was served in the Conservatory and was cooked to order Beautifully . This B & B is ideal for a quiet relaxing Getaway . Could not Fault it . On their Website we noticed they say they are visited by Foxes and other Wildlife . On returning to the property after a Day exploring Hastings we were greeted by a Large Fox relaxing beside the Driveway . I was able to take a couple of Photos of it and it only moved after we had opened the Gates and began to Drive into the Driveway . It was terrific to see this. We highly recommend Summerfields House .

I visited back in summer of 2013 when I was a young child with my family! We had an amazing time and all still think back fondly upon our stay. Not only were the hosts very attentive, but the home was also beautifully kept and in a great location. The breakfast was a perfect way to experience the British culture, and meet other guests - the conversations we had were so delightful. As kids we also loved the grass field around it and playing with the dog !! (Casper? If I remember correctly...) Overall, this place felt very homey and I can recommend it to everyone. Hope to return one day. Thank you for the amazing memories back to your time in England.
