Nothing could come close to the view from Willinga Lodge, overlooking Hartbeespoort Dam. Will and Ingrid are charming and helpful hosts, and the quirky suites and beautiful gardens made for a relaxing and memorable experience - by far our favourite place we've stayed in South Africa. It is all built on an incredibly steep hill, so it is not for the unenergetic, and the driveway to the carpark is very steep and tight. There is a communal kitchen and living space in addition to the facilities in each suite, and a hit tub (great!) and pool (cold!). Ideal as a place of tranquillity.

The service is right but the rooms is not nice like our expectation but the security is very strict at the main gate which is nice The parking is not not nice but we managed cos we notice that the place is the mountain Breakfast was nice. And the receptionists was very friendly and good in communication ❤️

I was given the best service. Friendly staff n the chef did an amazing job. I thought I was going to gain weight with that amount of food . Give it up to Marvin . He welcomed us n took good care of us . I am not sure if I spelled his name correctly but yes slender dark guy

Arrived there. Incredibly difficult road. Lady took us to wrong room Had to go further uphill. Eventually parked and walked a long distance to get to room, tripping and falling ( I hurt my ankle) over uneven cobblestones. Entered room and my face fell on the floor. Not at all what the pictures look like. In a very poor state. And the communal kitchen ' Oh. My. Word. I just wanted to get out of there ASAP. I simply left and of course, they now refuse to pay back any of the money I paid. I went back to Kosmos Manor, still the greatest place! Hey Scenic Haven; 🤮

The service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was also lovely, but the communal kitchen was a downer for me. Overall the accommodation was great. Thank you
