The place secluded and old. Rooms feel ******* at night. There are no options for food. The restaurant nearby "Trustee Table" is very expensive and you don't have any other option. Room was clean and tidy. But no amenities are in the room like microwave and fridge. You can access them at a common space.

It's a working farm with lots of history of the shakers .it's a great place for people who like nature as well as fine dinning

This is a great place to stay if you would like to experience some simple furnishings and stay in historic buildings. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bath was updated to modern standards. We were on the third floor, so our old muscles got a decent work out. You will also learn a little about the shakers.

The property has trees and many large yards with stone sidewalks and roads to explore. The livestock are just outside every building. Deer and squirrels abound. The people were super friendly. I would carry my luggage to the car without locking the room. Never an issue. People at the store to serve clients 24-7. Overall a great experience

Wonderful way to learn about AND experience a piece of history. The setting is idyllic and everything is very well done without being overdone. Food was excellent and staff was courteous. We would definitely recommend this destination to friends. We were there in the fall, but can see that it would be lovely in any season.

Nice to be in a safe, calm environment. Dining room is too expensive for what it was. Breakfast was $11 for 2 biscuits and gravy and $3.75 for a few grapes and strawberries! Convenient but nothing special. No electric outlets in room except one in the bath. Made it difficult to charge electronics. Exhibits were interesting. People in welcome center were very helpful.

First time here. Beautiful place and the food is amazing

What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful property, clean and well stocked room. Only complaint was we had never stayed before and finding where to check in was tough but a phone call cleared it up and we enjoyed our much needed rest!

This was a nice and unique place to stay. The history and preservation of the village is amazing. The staff were all extremely friendly and very nice.
