The hotel is in a reasonable location and seems secure. The room was as thought, clean and tidy and as other locations. The reception wasnt manned as such as the guy spent most of his time out front smoking and on his mobile. Not a professional impression. Where this hotel hits hard and made me angry was the restaurant / pub. This place needs serious review. The food was actually OK and i wont make any complaints but the staff situation is absolutely appalling. Two people serving and looking after a restaurant with at least 30 people when i was there while also serving a bar for people who were only drinking. I questioned the manager is it only the two of you when she said yes. She has been asking HO for staff for half a year and they are disinterested. I could clearly see how overwhelmed and disrespected they feel. Consequently customer service is non existent and i had a 10min wait upon entering and a 30min wait for my meal. I also sat there for 30mins waiting for my plate to be taken and my desert. The place is visibly old and uncared for and needs complete refurbishment. This is a stain on the Premiere Inn brand as there is nothing premiere about this place. Fix up Premiere Inn and do better especially for your staff.
