It should be rated 7 stars. Superb location in a quiet but central and lovely suburb, close to all amenities and with a beautiful setting and design. The hosts and staff are magnificent and for anyone coming to Harare you should book in here, without hesitation. Stunning layout, peaceful and wonderfully appointed bedrooms and guest facilities. There really is everything you need. Breakfasts are fabulous and the dinner menus on offer looked excellent although I was out every night with clients so didn’t try these. It will be my go-to place every time I visit. A perfect base.

I spent a total of 6 nights at Kingsmead Lodge last month and can honestly say that this delightful guest lodge is literally a home from home. The warm and friendly welcome coupled with faultless service, excellent food and impeccably appointed rooms combined to make my nostalgic return to Zim thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks to all at Kingsmead.

Kingsmead was such a wonderful place to stay! Everyone was so accommodating of my food allergies and the hotel even helped me set up a tour guide one of the days. Such lovely people and a gorgeous room!! Can't wait to come back soon.

A very beautiful guest house with very friendly stuff, always making sure that everything is well for you. Comfortable bed and pillows, would like to thank Shanice, Nikki and chef Tongai for the lovely service. The streak was exceptional.

Kingsmead was the best experience! Everyone was incredibly attentive to our needs and the accommodations were beautiful and relaxing. Dinners were thoughtfully prepared and delicious, breakfast was wonderful and the honesty bar was a nice touch. Landscaping was gorgeous and well taken care of and the pool was a nice touch even if I just dangled my feet in it. There was no A/C, but with the cool temps at night there wasn’t a need for it.

My third time to stay at Kingsmead. It truly is a home away from home. Beautiful premises but most importantly an amazing staff. All of them, the receptionists, the cooks, the cleaners … so polite, kind, helpful and efficient. I would not stay anywhere else in Harare and will be back again soon.

From arrival to departure the Kingsmead Team were great! Rooms were neat and tidy, breakfast was great, staff were all extremely helpful. Location was great and overall a wonderful experience with the Kingsmead Team. Will definitely be back in future!
