月光景飯店(Moon View Hotel)

Nous avons séjourné plusieurs nuit au Moonview. Un accueil sympathique. Un hôtel simple, bien tenu et bien situé. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. C'est un bon choix pour visiter Hanoï. A 15 minutes à pied du vieil Hanoï.

Once again there should be a rating between Average and Very Good, as this is what I would rate the Moon View. The staff were nice and the rooms are a good size and clean, we only ate breakfast at the hotel and the buffet selection was very good indeed. The location is on a very busy street especially when school is finishing, but there are handy things around such as an ATM right next door and some good eateries and small convenience stores close. One really baffling thing was the roof top bar, well it's an outdoor area on the roof with a small bar inside, that does not really want to be a bar. The view at night is fantastic but attempts to get a drink were given up after one beer as they only had 3 in the fridge and there were 3 people who wanted one. Asking for a white wine resulted in being offered Gin and a return visit 2 nights later saw the place locked up prior to 9.30pm. It's a shame as I believe it is something they should really promote. Perhaps taking a small cooler bag and getting a few beers from one of the convenience stores and get up the roof about 7pm might be the way to go.

We stayed in this hotel while in Hanoi. Its pretty old, not a great location. Building site on opposite side of the road. The room was clean but very dated. Stairs and facilities were pretty dirty . There are better hotels in the area for a lot cheaper.

We stayed here for two nights and was two nights too long. The room we had on the first night was literally like concrete! The tv didn't work let alone air conditioning. We were moved to a 'softer' pair of beds for the second night but alas to no avail. The staff are pleasant, the photos on the site have been taken with excellent lighting and angles. The street is out of the way and out of old hanoi. It is not a convenient location at all. It is a shame that not attending to the basics of the room left a nasty taste in our mouths. Don't look out the window - it is a brick wall.

Located close to west lake a bit outside the city center you find this not more than mediocre hotel. Rooms are spacious but not very clean by western standards. The restaurant on the upper floor looks old and needs renovation. Quality of the food is average although you do have an ok choice of dishes and fresh made eggs. It’s not a bad hotel but clearly low(er) end and looks deprecated

Situé en centre vile de Hanoï , cet hôtel un peu vieillissant peut faire l’affaire pour une nuit ou deux. Le quartier est très bruyant et si vous n’avez pas la chance d’être aux étages supérieurs la nuit risque d’être courte

Bien situé dans le centre ancien pour visiter la vieille ville et ses alentours Nombreux commerces à proximité Chambres spacieuses Petit déjeuner simple mais correct Personnels agréables Très bon accueil
