金月套房飯店(Golden Moon Suite Hotel)

아침 7시에 사파가는 버스 타려고 나왔는데 처음보는 깡패같은 남자분이 체크아웃하냐고 하더니만 돈낸게 확인이 안된다고 10분넘게 잡아둬서 기분이 매우 불쾌하네요. 나시간 없다고 문제있으면 전화달라고해도 소리지르면서 돈을 받아야할거 아니냐고 하는데 일부러 15분 일찍 나와서 다행이지 딱 맞춰나왔으면 멍청한 스텝때문에 버스 놓칠뻔했네요. 그리고 오토바이 소리 닭소리 개소리 때문에 아침 새벽부터 선잠잤어요. 하노이는 위치가 다가아니네요

Ce petit hôtel est bien situé dans le quartier animé de Hanoï, non loin du petit lac et de la cathédrale. Il offre des chambres agréables, mais lors de mon séjour la Wifi était très lente et coupait fréquemment. Le petit déjeuner est pris au dernier étage avec une belle vue. Le choix des petits déjeuners n'est pas très large et il n'y a que quatre tables. Cette hôtel intéressera surtout ceux qui ont besoins d'une agence de voyage sur place.

We booked for 3 nights but had to check out after just 1 as we just didn't feel safe there. The hotel was storing its laundry outside our room on the 5th floor landing creating a fire hazard. All stairs/landings etc should be free from objects at all times, especially flammable objects. The laundry was partially blocking our fire exit (the stairs) and completely covered the fire extinguishers. Fire risk all around. We did raise this as a concern and ask for a different room. We did get offered another room lower down but not till the 3rd night. We just felt unsafe sleeping there. So decided to move out, even though this meant paying for the second night. Also the hotel looks nothing like as lovely as the photos, I know its a budget hotel but I can't see how people keep saying its "exceptional" on these reviews. The rooms are tired looking, feel a bit grubby, the double we had was small and the bathroom grouting was black and the shower had no power to the flow. The window felt like it was going to fall out when we opened it and door handle felt loose and unsecure. We just didn't feel like we could relax in the room, as all felt a bit manky. On a positive note: well located (but so many hotels in the area so not a real reason to choose it) and staff nice.

Ms Lily is the best! The hotel is clean and in a very good location. We walked to everything. Breakfast is great. Across the street the Bun Cha is fantastic but go upstairs to eat. But I especially recommend this hotel above similar ones because of Lily. She also arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, transported to a cruise on Lan Ha Bay and then transported from the cruise to our hotel near Tam Coc. When the bus at the end of the cruise messed up, we contacted Lily and she helped us get to our hotel. She spoke to the drivers and the bus companies via phone and gave them my name, she checked in with us frequently to make sure that we had been picked up. Even on the bus to see if we made it to Ninh Binh. Then when the bus didn’t take us all the way to our hotel, she paid for a minibus from the bus station to our hotel. When you book at this hotel, you get a great place to stay with great location and you are essentially getting travel insurance because you know that Ms Lily will follow through.

Lily y todo el staff fueron súper amables y nos ayudaron en todo lo que podían. El desayuno estaba súper bien y muy rico. La localización es súper céntrica y por el precio de la habitación la verdad es que está bastante bien. Está limpio, hay aire acondicionado, la cama está bien. Pero lo que realmente hizo la estancia genial fue la ayuda de Lily que casi nos organizó todo nuestro viaje por Vietnam y siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros y de que los paseos que nos ayudó a agendar estuvieran bien y que hubiéramos pasado un buen rato. Even though they have a sign on the main street and in the alley it corners, we had trouble finding the place. The road is full of signs and it's not very big. You can go in through the street or the alley. They offered us juice and watermelon when we came in. The reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room was a bit of a disappointment, only because it wasn't as bright and new as it appeared in the picture. The wallpaper was dinghy and damaged in places which gave it a bit of a run down feel. However, the place was clean and it was warm and dry. They did our laundry for us for a small fee and had it ready quickly. It is near shopping and restaurants. It's not a long walk to the lake park and the old city. They have a great breakfast with a bit of a view of the alley below.

Perfect location, central to everything, great food 20 meters away, clean rooms, great breakfast, Lily and Sophie are the perfect hosts, friendly and full of great local tips and travel advise and bookings, would definitely come back again and highly recommend

Excellent, clean hotel in Hanoi close to many of the sites. Staff was very enthusiastic and welcoming. Would stay again.
