8 on Oregon Boutique Lodge

Wir verbrachten entspannte Ostertage in dieser wirklich tollen Unterkunft. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten groß und sehr gemütlich, die Bäder modern und alles sehr sauber. Und dann die herrliche Aussicht auf den wunderschönen Garten, die Stadt und die Berge. Jill und Dave sind exzellente Gastgeber, sehr freundlich, stets erreichbar und haben viele gute Tipps parat. Wir bekamen Fahrräder ausgeliehen. Auch die große Sammlung an DVDs hat uns als Familie gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wir haben es sehr genossen, dass wir uns jederzeit einen Tee und Kaffee zubereiten konnten. Ein Highlight war auch die leckere Platte mit all den Köstlichkeiten, die wir serviert bekamen. Wir können diese Übernachtungsmöglichkeit sehr empfehlen.

Wir waren bereits im Dezember 2019 in diesem Hotel, als man noch nach Neuseeland reisen konnte. Die Lodge ist absolut empfehlenswert und man merkt, dass Jill & Dave mit Herzblut diese Unterkunft betreiben. Im Nachhinein haben wir uns geärgert, dass wir nur eine Nacht in Hanmer Springs eingeplant hatten. Von den geräumigen und sehr sauberen Zimmern (wir haben im Molesworth Zimmer übernachtet) hat man gleich mehrere atemberaubende Ausblicke. Nach unten schaut man auf einen unglaublich schönen Garten, weiter nach oben überblickt man den Ort und gleich dahinter fasziniert ein imposantes Bergpanorama. Der Ort selbst ist recht schnell zu Fuß erreicht und erkundet. Geht man von der Lodge in die andere Richtung beginnt gleich ein schöner Rundwanderweg. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Jill & Dave sind wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeber mit einem absoluten Blick für Details. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut und in Kombination mit dem Ausblick von unserer Terrasse eigentlich unschlagbar (siehe Foto).

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean and the views from the bedroom and balcony were nothing short of spectacular. The hosts were delightful and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that we didn’t stay longer

Exceeded expectations: an absolutely beautiful room, location, lovely hosts who went over and above, and the most amazing view. Super handy for town, walking, biking, spa, we had the BEST weekend in Hanmer. Lots of beautiful birds right in front of your room, watching the changing colour sky over the Leslie hills, listening to beautiful bird song, early hike next to the lodge before breakfast, hot shower, balcony breakfast, loved it all

Lovely location and facilities Wonderful view and very quiet. Lots of attention to detail, exceptionally clean and modern with character touches. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts Jill and David. One out of the box 😉 and would highly recommend

We loved staying here. The room was lovely with everything we needed and the views are even better than the photos. The location is great with direct access to Conical Hill. We quickly ditched our dinner plans and instead had takeaways on the deck with the best views in town. Thanks to the lovely accomodating owners 10/10 😊

From the moment we arrived and left Jill and Dave made this location feel like home. The local information supplied was explained in great detail making the visit even more special. The location is exceptional, the rooms and amenities are beautifully presented. Now to the views, to date the most spectacular we have been to in NZ, the gardens are amazing and from the balcony "wow" Thankyou so much for your genuine and pleasurable hospitality both Jill and Dave we feel like we have just left family,thankyou from us all.

We had an amazing time in Hamner Springs. Jill and Dave's accomodation was in a breathtaking location which is close enough to stroll into town. Rooms were overlooking the mountains. Spacious and everything was perfect and a home away from home. Jill and Dave were fantastic hosts helping us with dinner options, ideas of what to see and do. Breakfast was also complimentary and was lovely. Thanks Jill and Dave for an amazing stay, we will most definitely be back.

Great location and great hosts - very good stay. Easy walking distance to town and the views are outstanding. No problems at all with arrival and settling in for the weekend - the hosts are very friendly and took the time to introduce themselves and provide some really great local knowledge. 10/10
