I recently stayed at the Argent Motor Lodge in Hamilton for two nights for some minor surgery at Hamilton Hospital. It's easy to see why the Argent Motor Lodge is an award winning property, the room was beautifully presented and had all the amenities required for my stay, the owner Graeme was an amazing host, my many thanks once again Graeme for going out of your way to drop me off before and for picking me up after my surgery. Just spent a few days here, and I have to agree with everyone else: the motel is 5 stars plus. It is the service and the little things that make it such a wonderful place to stay, especially when you have someone ill in Waikato Hospital. Being offered pickups from the hospital, especially when dark is going above and beyond. Graeme gave me coins for the washer and drier, and did not charge me, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. In the actual motel it is the small touches: decent toilet paper, wonderful soft fluffy and large towels, a so so comfortable bed and way more, too many to mention. I was there by myself, and felt very safe and “looked after”. I do not have any "negatives" at all. So, a big thanks to Graeme and everyone else. Book in advance, and you wont regret it.

Agent Motor Lodge is the place to be for a refreshing stay in a peaceful and secure environment, close to all amenities in Hamilton. Spacious rooms, attended to by cheerful staff, clean and ironed linen, sport and movie TV channels all make it the place of choice.

What a gem of a stay! Owner completely brilliant in the customer service space, went out of his way to make my stay great. Beds and pillow very comfortable, everything you need kitchen wise, very clean, great shower, excellent stay. Definitely would have a return stay.

Ideal location. Staff all great and prepared to go the extra mile. Highly recommended. Room was spotless and had everything we needed. Very easy to walk to Waikato Hospital if needed. You need to book early for this very desirable place to stay.

I cannot recommend Graeme and the Argent highly enough. The service he provided was exemplary (ringing to advise the room was ready in case we were waiting to check in, turning the heat on so the room was nice and warm on our arrival). The location is really convenient, literally walking distance to the hospital, and it close to good food. If you're needing hospital accommodation, it's perfect.

Outstanding stay, the rooms are large and exceptionally clean, bed is large and comfortable and room is quiet. The bathroom is well equipped and large. Well equipped kitchenette and kind gift of milk in the fridge. Very friendly check in, convenient parking on site. To call this a motel or lodge is misleading as this is really a boutique hotel, it certainly of this standard. Good location, easy to locate and close to the town centre. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing location for the Hospital as we were visiting a sick relative. 5 Minute walk to the hospital. The rooms were beautifully clean and well equipped, the Staff were so so helpful and looked after us with any extras or requirements we needed. Highly recommend the Argent, you will not be disappointed.
