斯堪地海門林城市飯店(Scandic Hameenlinna City)

Staff was nice and always smile and helpful. Breakfast was ok but not like a Hotel. Nothing in room. No tea bag or coffee in room, no iron, no cup no telephone. You need to go to the reception in person to ask for something. No air conditioner only had a small fan in the room so sleep not well due to feel hot. Toilet in the room was big enough for 2 persons stay inside. Sauna room very dark no towel supplied in the sauna room.

Huone Scandic-ketjun perustasoa, hieman aikaa nähnyt mutta toimii hyvin yösijana. Respa mukava ja asiallinen ukko ja läpän heittokin sujui. Aamiainen runsas ja vihollisketjun " kaikkea on" hokema sopii siihen hyvin. Ruokaesteisille omat eväät vegejuustosta outoon makkaraan. Basic room for Scandic- hotels, time is seen but it is most comfortable for one night. Breakfast is rich, plenty of variety and different diets also is there.

Kokemus oli hyvä, kylpyhuone avara ja tilava suihkutila olisi voinut olla hieman isompi, kahdelle hengelle hieman ahdas. Käytävästä kantautui melua huoneeseen keskellä yötä johon heräsimme. Sänky oli mukava ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin huoneessa oli hyvä ilma. Ja huone oli yleisilmeeltään siisti. Henkareita olisi voinut olla enemmän. Aamupala ravintolassa oli maittava ja valikoima oli perustasoa. Nautimme vierailusta.

As all the Scandic hotels, they are basic, but all you need is there. Bedlinnen/blankets static as usual. Great bar, locals always in for a chat. Breakfast is just fantastic, large choice and quality is of highest standard. People with coeliak or lactose intollerance, have a great choice of alternatives in the special corners of the breakfast room. All together een good place to stay and with friendly people.

Hotellihuoneemme oli hiukan kulahtanut. Pöydänreunasta lohjennut palasia ja muutenkin vanhan oloinen mutta yhtä yötä varten kaikki tarpeellinen. Pubin henkilökunta vähän väsynyttä.

Todella ystävällinen ja auttavainen henkilökunta.

Bit ”outdated” hotel but within a central location in town. Rooms are clean, but walls & doors are very thin, so noise from corridor & neigboring rooms can be easily heard. Sauna was nice, but washing room was bit filthy…. Food in restaurant quite standard, or even bit below that, but personnel in all occasions were very nice and polite. So if you are just overnighting that’s fine, but people looking for nice experience, should probably go elsewhere…. Ps. Hotel has both indoors (narrow parking slots) and outdoors own parking space.

I have stayed at Scandic Hämeenlinna City a couple of times during the last 2 years and it is always perfect. The hotel is very calm and relaxing. The breakfast is also wonderful and there is a sauna etc. I always love coming to this hotel after a long trip.
