A sad result of covid-19. We were to stay two nights but had to leave the place after a few hours. The place was filthy and the pool was completely green. The room was dirty that had not been cleaned. There were insects all over it. Thousands of ants and we know it is normal in Sri Lanka. There were giant beetles on the table in the restaurant.

We stayed at this hitel for a single night. The bathrooms were horrible. The toilet was not even flushed from theorevious visit. There were cobwebs everywhere. Heared it was OK in the old days, but not it is just pure filthy. Just nit maintained. Please do avoid staying in this hotel.

Located by the roadside in Thissa Town in Kataragama this property is modern from the outside and the rooms give a nice Colonial touch with the mosquito nets. The staff are quite nice as most places in Sri Lanka with them coming to check on your needs. The restaurant manager is very friendly and loves to also give a tour of the garden at the back.

Very beautiful hotel, they have a nice pool just outside the restaurant. The room was clean and room deco is nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful and food serves are very generous. They served eggfruit drink as welcome drink and when we asked what it was, they showed us the fruit as well as the tree in their yard. The yard also has very cute rabbits - a plus point.

Rice of Life by Tissa Inn is a hotel that will prioritize on foreign tourist than the locals. :-) Rooms were clean and washrooms are clean. Service is average. Food is average. They have a pool and its bit dirty when we were in the hotel. Not sure they had a cleaning system hence it was not clean at all. Since the hotel in near the main road, there is no much view.

Beautiful rooms, with a lovely balcony & view of the pool & town. Pool area was beautiful, with both shade & sunny spots. The staff were so welcoming & hospitable, & offered poolside food service. Breakfasts were delicious, & the a la carte menu offered many different cuisines

Amazing hotel with the most caring staff ever We spent a couple of nights and it felt like home Every thing we asked was done with a smile Amazing facilities and the most awsome rooms Do yourself a favor and visit the place By the way - we went for the safari tour and the hotel gave us packages of food at 5 am
