About this spaceWelcome to our resort-like accommodations (4bd/4.5ba) on the North East end of Lake Lanier! Come and relax, let the stress melt away or enjoy making fun family memories! Lake Lanier has over 700 miles of shoreline spread over 38,000 acres! This is our personal vacation home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. NOTE: Ask about availability to rent our 2021 Axis A24 that is fully loaded with lifejackets, wake boards, surf boards, and a 4 person tube!The spaceThe lake is just a short walk to our 32x32 dock with a sun deck where the water is roughly 7-9 feet deep depending on the time of year. DO NOT AT ANY TIME JUMP OFF THE TOP OF THE DOCK. The path to the dock is lit at night and there are lights on the dock.You will have access to over 3800 sq feet and wide-open space with lots of privacy and plenty of places to relax. Again, this is our personal home and our only rental, so we aim to provide a personal touch. Our permanent residence is only 40 minutes away, so if you have a special request, let us know! Also includes a private walkout covered balcony, a king size bed and a 55” Tv-Private bedroom suite with king size bed and 55” TVBasement:-Living area with 75” tv and soundbar and subwoofer.-Game room that includes a full sized pool table and an arcade machine with hundreds of preinstalled games-Kitchenette that includes plenty of counter space, dishware, glassware, refrigerator, and microwave.-Bunk room that includes a 50” Tv and 2 adult size bunkbeds that include queen size, full size, and 2 twin size bedsOutdoor Living:-Main Floor Deck with furniture and deluxe gas grill- Under Deck- covered outdoor area with relaxing 4 person hottub- Outdoor Firepit with seating for 6- CornholeKitchen:Fully stocked kitchen. If we don’t have what you need, just let us know!Pets: No pets allowed at anytime. This is not a party house so please look elsewhere for a party house. We do not have cameras in the house.Quiet hours: 10pm-8am.Parking: No parking on the street at any time as it is against county policy to park on the street at a rental property. Ample room for up to 4 large SUVs in the driveway/gravel spots.Wildlife: You may see our local wildlife wandering around. We have a variety of critters that love living near the water and woods too! Please do not disturb them. You may see cute box turtles. They are illegal to keep. Please leave them be!Liability Waiver:• The terrain on Lake Lanier ranges from gentle slope to very steep. The flatter the walk, the shallower the water. The walk to our docks is considered moderate sloping for this lake. My parents, both in their 70s, handle the walk just fine.• Please be careful as it is a lake property with uneven surfaces, slope & steps. Negligence may cause a slip and fall, and care must be taken, especially with younger children.• Also, you understand the potential dangers and risks associated with water activities, dock access and take appropriate safety precautions and assume responsibility for yourself and any consequences caused by your party. A beautiful 3 story brick home with daylight walk out basement, nestled on a wooded lot. The backyard has a brick patio & stairs leading down to our private dock on a small, quiet bay of Lake Lanier. Our home is across the water from Don Carter State Park. Dock available for your boat parking - use public launch dock. Entry level / ground floor. Walk into the hardwood floored, light & bright living room / dining room. The open floor plan means you can gather easily with your group - we host up to 10 people comfortably. The living room has a decorative (not operational) fireplace, seating for 8 & record player stocked with records for you to spin. The dining room is connected to the living room & seats 8. There is a fun peach colored dining hutch. Spot the other peach tributes sprinkled thru the house. We love Georgia & visit our home frequently. Because we are guests here frequently you will find this home stocked with more than just the basics. Large kitchen with granite countertops & stainless steel appliances. Stocked with dinnerware, silverware & glassware. Pots, pans & utensils. Coffee maker. Filtered water. This home sleeps a maximum of 9 guests in the following configurations. Upstairs is carpeted with 2 bedrooms & a full bathroom. The primary suite has a King size bed. BRAND NEW & super comfortable mattress + full length mirror. This very large light infused bedroom has the feeling of being up in a tree house - the views out to the trees is really special. There is also a couch here that turns into a futon, a large flatscreen TV mounted on the wall & fun cheetah print ottoman / additional seat. This is a great area to watch TV or curl up with a good book. The 2nd bedroom upstairs Queen bed with dresser and closet.The bathroom for this level has 2 sinks, 2 countertops, 2 mirrors, a tub / shower combo. Stairs to the upstairs are closed off with a baby gate at the top of the stairs.Downstairs is a walk out basement that sleeps 6 people in one large open bonus room or 2nd living room. There is currently 2 sets of twin bunk beds and a a fun pink "Explorer Play Fort". There is a sofas that pulls out into a Queen sofa sleeper bed. There is also a small eating or card/game table for 4. There is a walk out to a brick patio & farther down steps to the dock on Lake Lanier. Also in the basement Arcade1Up Star Wars pinball machine, and TV. Full bathroom with double vanity, bath/shower combo and toilet,The basement level also has a full size washer & drier. Guests are welcome to do wash, note: we do not supply laundry detergent. There is also a full bathroom in this area. Stairs to the basement are closed off with a baby gate. Nestled on the quiet and calm north end of Lake Lanier, less than 1 hour north of Atlanta, the Hygge House resides in a very private cove with sweeping lake views and offers a short walk to the dock and water. The home is 2,300 sq ft and has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths - a perfect size for both couples as well as small groups up to 8. As you enter the home, a fully equipped and stocked kitchen awaits you, with all stainless steel appliances, including a convection oven, microwave, 4 burner gas cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee station, and Chick-Fil-A ice machine. The kitchen includes top-of-the-line Quartz countertops and a automatic on/off Kohler Prolific workstation chef's sink with plenty of entertaining and prep space. The living space surrounding the kitchen includes dining for up to 8, a modern fireplace and ample seating with long-range views of the lake, the surrounding woods, and unbelievably gorgeous sunsets throughout the year.The home also comes with a dedicated office area with dual computer monitors and high-end webcam for any work or video calls you might need to do while here. The cozy all-season screened-in porch offers an outdoor living space and has two sofas, two chairs, a Zen wall, a large industrial remote-controlled fan, and a built-in 6000 watt infrared Bromic heater.The Primary room features a king-sized bed with a Nectar mattress and top-of-the-line DeWoolfson down comforter, amazing lake views with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, an Eames lounge chair, and a one-of-one, custom-made "Sherman Oak" headboard. The headboard was hand-crafted from one of the few remaining oak trees that survived when General Sherman burned down Atlanta during the Civil War. It was sadly hit by lightning in 2019, but was able to be given new life as an amazing art piece and historical remnant. The Primary room's expansive bath features heated floors, dual vanities, an automatic urinal, a “smart toilet” with built in bidet, and a spacious shower area with multiple shower heads for a soothing and spa-like shower experience. Downstairs on the terrace level you'll find two spacious rooms, each with spectacular lake views. The "2nd Primary" offers a floating king bed with a DreamCloud mattress and Dewollfson down comforter, Sonos Move, built-in closet, blackout curtains, and individually controlled bedside wall sconces for each guest's comfort and convenience. The bunk room isn't just for the kids as it comes equipped with a custom-made bunk bed with a high-end Nectar queen mattress on the bottom and twin XL up top. Additionally, the room features a 65'' Samsung SmartTV w/ a Sonos Arc, a custom-made Arcade system with over 3,000 classic video games, and has plenty of room for games, yoga, or lounging around on the oversized Lovesac. The back deck has a dining table for 6 and a custom-made, built-in grill table with a Blackstone griddle and a Kamodo Joe grill, with charcoal, gas, and all grilling tools provided. The home features a brand new boathouse - the largest allowed on Lake Lanier - and comes with paddleboards, kayaks, floats, life vests, a swim platform and ladder, and other essential lake toys. The cove is also fantastic for fishing - even right from the dock - and we provide 2 rod-and-reels for guests to use! The dock is a great place to tie up a boat during your stay - with the boat launch only 5 minutes away and trailer parking at the top of the driveway, it couldn't be easier. Don't have a boat, but want to rent one? No problem! We have a boat rental service with fantastic rates and you can even keep the boat at the dock during your stay! We also offer chartered boat captain services as well for those that want to focus on just having fun with friends and family. 1860’s Farmhouse has been completely remodeled and updated with designer touches in every room. Located right near the Olympic Rowing Venue and a short drive to downtown Gainesville. Home is three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Two bedrooms on the main floor each have their own fireplace and smart TV. Master bath has large walk in shower with two shower heads and claw foot soaking tub. Additional bathroom downstairs also has large vanity and walk in shower. A large bedroom upstairs has two queen beds and one twin bed with a trundle. The upstairs living room holds a queen sleeper sofa. Keeping room downstairs has a large sectional. Cook’s kitchen has everything you will need and large custom dining table makes it possible to enjoy each meal with amazing lake views. The front of house has double rocking chair front porches and the large back porch leads to a grill and picnic table. A single slip dock is on the property for guest to dock a boat, sunbathe, or fish. Also a large fire pit for your enjoyment.
