By far the best hotel I've ever stayed in on all the trips I've made, in addition to being very beautiful and in a great location, my family and I were surprised by the hotel staff, how polite and helpful they are with everything, we stayed 7 nights and didn't have any problem and on every occasion I have always noticed the hotel staff smiling and happy, they really enjoy being there and make our stay a perfect experience. Even our dogs were treated like real guests, thank you Muir team, we will definitely be staying at your Hotel again!

The minute we arrived the service was 5 star. Check in was very simple and quick. We received a welcome package in our room, and the room itself was spotless. The king sized bed, sheets and pillows were high-end which made for easy enjoyable sleeps. Heated washroom floors, self closing/opening curtains, and plenty of towels. The in room bar was a great addition with high qaulity spirit options and beer options. The gym was very modern and spacious with high end fitness equipment. The pool/sauna area was smaller but very clean and enjoyable. We ate at Drift located inside the hotel which i highly recommended as well. A true 5 star hotel, would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely boutique style hotel. Room was clean and well appointed. Property is only 5 floors, therefore the ‘view’ was somewhat lacking. The gym was spacious and well equipped. Nice on-site restaurant and others nearby were also good. Hotel staff should enforce the relaxation hours at the pool and spa, seems to be no difference between family hours and quiet time.

From the front desk staff, doormen, cleaning staff - all were amazing. Incredible attention to customer service. The room was beautiful with top amenities. Close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Will stay here again and will highly recommend to others

Mini bars have kind of gone out of style but the Muir has a nice one. Turndown service was also very nice and thoughtful. Cold plunge pool was a highlight in the pool area. Such a great idea!

Très bon hôtel, tous les critères du luxe sont respectés. Il manque un peu de chaleur dans la déco, l’entrée est sombre, on a un peu l’impression de rentrer par le parking. L’ensemble manque un peu de style, c’est très commun et ressemble à tous les hôtels de cette catégorie. Mention spéciale aux jeunes qui nous accueillent à l’extérieur, vraiment adorables et prévenants. Merci pour le lavage du véhicule et leurs précieux conseils.

A beautiful property on the Halifax waterfront with excellent amenities, especially the speakeasy! Comfortable, conveniently located and helpful and friendly staff. Definitely our new favourite place to stay when visiting the Maritimes.

Very attentive staff, lovely rooms, very modern and attractive. Great bathroom with seperate toilet room and shower/ bath room. Super fluffy towels and lovely smooth hi count limens. I loved that floors were bare apart from large woven carpet under bed to step onto from bed.
